Quentin Pizza — Restaurant in New York

Quentin Pizza is one of the many things that is synonymous to my childhood (so this review might be slightly biased).

The elementary school that I attended is less than half a block away. Every Friday after school, my Grandpa or my Dad would take me after school to get a slice to go. I'd devour it while watching some cartoons after finally getting the antenna to cooperate and getting a clear picture. Yes, an antenna.

But back to the pizza, since you're not here to read about my after-school activities. It's great! It tastes fresh. It tastes the same as it did 15 years ago, just the price is a little higher now. The only other things I've had here are the garlic knots and the rice balls. The knots could use a little less grease, and the balls could use a little more meat, but I really do love the pizza. I'd take a slice of Quentin pizza over any fancy schmancy 'artisan' pizza any day.

Tip - they have a Monday special: $10 for a large cheese pie...

My partner and I have been ordering from this place regularly as our go-to fav pizza delivery for 2 years. 9/10 times, the pizza was great and all our guests loved it. Ordered today as usual, and the delivery was suspiciously fast. I asked for margherita pie and what I got was atrocious. It looked like they just took some old regular pie and sprinkled a bit of basil on top then reheated and called it a day (maybe that's why delivery was so fast?). It didn’t taste fresh, the slices were chewy and were so DRY like there wasn’t sauce on them at all. It also had a weird aftertaste. May the owner please respond here and resolve somehow? I hate to be THAT...

BEST VEGGIE PIZZA OF MY LIFE!! Ordered off the Slice app and delivery was super fast. Got the Eggplant Parmesan and Veggie pizza. Both pizzas were phenomenal! I can’t even pick a favorite. The crust was a crisp dream-come-true and the toppings were very generous (see photo for proof). Idk how all those gosh darn veggies got so perfectly cooked but they did. Surrender your secrets! Or don’t and I’ll keep ordering from here...
