I'm so disappointed with this place. We've gotten bread and cakes from here before. The cakes we got were cute and delicious and since my husband is Chinese, I ordered my wedding cake from here... I feel robbed. I came into the store and chose a cake from their website...the cake was not like in the picture. I don't mind if things are changed up a bit as long as it looks good, but it was just plain with some flowers kinda different from what I chose. The cake I chose had some texture and more flowers. I was told four layers was going to be too much, yet even the size was smaller than I expected. At the store I clearly said "then just don't do the top layer" what they decided to omit is the main layer. The base layer of my cake was around 12 inches. $600 for a plain 3 layered cake of this size feels excessive. Read moreEach time I visit Red Lotus Bakery I enjoy every aspect of the experience. From selecting the baked goods to interacting with the staff the while experience is authentic and human.

If I select an item that is deserving of a second chance I do just that. Try it again or select something different on my next visit.

I am thrilled each time I visit and will continue to do so selfishly for my own and also to support the local businesses whom are hard working and providing their brand.
Happy spring,...

But a chicken breast Bun for $5 to $5.50 that's reasonable to me though , hey ! Each to his own , I have known this place since they opened ,it is decent not bad , but if I need a lot ,say 15 buns ,I would drive to Flushing and still...
