I recently visited M3 hair salon for a haircut and showed my stylist Gavin the style that I wanted. I also mentioned my hair concerns: My hair is thin and lacks volume. I have fine, soft hair that tends to fall flat. My hair is sparse and doesn’t hold much shape, plus my laziness when it comes to styling. Gavin advised against perming, as it requires maintenance, and suggested a simple hair cut with some color to add volume without straightening or perming. The entire process was so relaxing – no upselling of products or awkward small talk. I could even close my eyes and unwind. Gavin was also very thoughtful, offering snacks and drinks during the session. After the haircut, it was surprised me! My hair looked fuller and had a natural volume. Our son is on the spectrum and has sensory issues, we’ve never taken him in for a salon haircut before because we knew he would cry and move too much. He’s now turning 5 and is able to communicate and let us know he was ready for a cut. We walked in on a Thursday morning and didn’t make an appointment but they were nice enough to take us in. Jeff was our stylist and he was so patient with our son, when he moved Jeff would stop and just wait until he was ready. After about 20 minutes our son started getting upset and was crying and Jeff finished up patiently and asked if we were ok/happy. We greatly appreciated his kindness. I had a fantastic experience at this hair salon! The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. My stylist, Ken, patiently listened to what I wanted and gave me a fresh, stylish cut that I absolutely loved. I have also been a long time customer of 10+ years since Ken also works at the Graceful Salon located in the Flushing area.

The salon itself is spacious, clean, modern, and relaxing. There is also a small parking lot in the rear, but if that's full, the neighboring area has plenty of spots.
