Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in New York

Terrible! Would give a 0! Today I went to Rita’s at Ave M and ordered a sundae this sundae includes a cherry, whipped cream and special toppings. The sundae on the advertisement is much bigger than how it looks in reality I ordered a twist with chocolate chips and Oreos since most of the toppings were out of stock and would be back in stock in about a month, but that wasn’t the problem the service man served me the ice cream after I told him it was a sundae he didn’t even bother to add a cherry and I had to remind him! After that I asked hey where is the whipped cream? He said they are out of stock I didn’t say anything and thought he would charge less since most of the items on that ice cream weren’t complete, but he charged a whole $7.25 for that cheap knock off of an ice cream. I’m never coming here again rather go to Manhattan to waste a whole 10 dollars on some quality ice cream. If you are out of stock for some items why not say so? It’s uncomfortable for me to cancel the order when he had made it already, he should have told me that we are out of whipped cream. Oh almost forgot, he picked the cherry out with his hands! His bare hands! No gloves, no nothing it was so gross it was in a jar hidden in a shelf looked so disgusting! As soon as I got that ice cream I threw out the cherry and ate the rest. It wasn’t that special for a whole $7.25 trust me about this review this place isn’t worth it at all! Horrible service, and everything is outdated! Have fun losing another customer...

Horrible experience. Google, where's an option to give ZERO star? There was hardly anyone waiting to place order or to receive their order, but this worker with redhead, mustache and beard was moving slooooow on purpose and doing everything he could do to avoid taking my order. He saw me waiting to place order but he ignored me, went to the basement to get cups and lids, and went on to slowly stack them up on shelf while I stared at him, as if it was more important to serve customers....

Worst place ever! Rita’s had a coupon for spring to get a free Rita’s. I went to three locations on Friday and all were closed when they said open!! And on Sunday went again and said they don’t have anymore “spring” cups! So fill a regular cup up halfway but nope they can’t! Went to location on kings highway same excuse. Lots of lying and bad customer service. I will not buy from Rita’s so fast again unless they compensate me for all this aggravation they caused me...
