Sabor Tropical — Restaurant in New York

I went here about a month ago and had caldo de bagre and shrimp ceviche (part of a platter) which were tasty. I went here today again but I was very disappointed. The ceviche de pescado was warm, and not ceviche at all. It was not sour at all - it seems they didn’t actually have ceviche made and made it a ceviche soup instead in order to quickly cook the fish…it was really disappointing. We were very surprised and honestly a bit offended we were served this “ceviche”. The food took a long while to come too, which I don’t mind as long as the food is good…but this was not the case. One of my favorite Ecuadorian spots!!! They have multiple locations. I choose this one when I'm in Bushwick (Brooklyn) for take out. My favorite is BOLON' Mixto (highly recommend it, if you love mofongo or mangu').
