I was in town visiting last week and wanted to try something good. I found this restaurant online and read the reviews and everyone raved about the “Rasta pasta.” In all honesty, this should really be named “Cajun pasta” as that is what it was giving me. When I tell you that it was amazing, believe me!! We were very pleased with the food although the aesthetics of the place was not very appealing, but it’s Brooklyn. Can’t expect too much on that front. My cousin and I got the Cajun pasta and added salmon, shrimp, and broccoli and we really enjoyed it. My mom got the salmon and shrimp with mixed veggies and rice and she enjoyed her meal as well. The vegetables were fresh and the butter sauce was amazing. This time I got the Shrimp Rasta Pasta. Definitely not a Rasta Pasta, but it was tasty. I wish the portion was a bit larger. The pasta sauce was super creamy—classic Alfredo. Shrimp well seasoned and not over cooked. Would recommend, but don’t expect the Caribbean/Cajun flavor or the bell peppers that are usually in Rasta pasta. This one has dried thyme which I thought was a little strange, but...
