I recently had an interview at this place & when I got to store three minutes prior, there was no around to attend me. I called the store dialed to manager and it went to voicemail, which I didn’t give. When noticed someone cleaning counter I knocked on glass windows; which took a few knocks. A tall boy cracks open door and I state Hi, that I had an interview. He looks behind answering to someone whom I’m guessing stated “She’s late!” as he responds “what time you got here?” I state 9:40? Like 3 mins ago? I called and no one answered. He yells back “She wasn’t late!” and removes broom from door to let me in. He states to girl, you ain’t see her?! as if that was the girl job to do, look out for the interviewers. (I’m quite pretty) She’s says Shut up, (Boy name)!” I didn’t receive what was going on as I’m positive but by her response I noticed it was negative. Young adults these days are so oblivious. As I wait for manager, he’s big weight and spanish and asks me to come sit on the other side. He’s already trying to take my power of naturally coming for him and switching it to his power and control. He begins to ask me questions that wasn’t on the application, like “what is something you wish you hadn’t done, like a mistake” Why are we talking about mistakes? You’re like praying for my downfall, I thought. I stated I wish I hadn’t spent so much time in school as time changes and I could do what I graduated with online.” He’s all smiley and states that’s okay your still young!” Looks can be deceiving I thought. But, that’s exactly what I wanted to get from this meeting, as I wondered what men thought of me. He asks questions of how I dealt with people, I think, it was all so irrelevant to me as people who’ve met me in previous jobs just hired me on the spot. Even Serendipity 3. But, I’m here practicing and learning others as I already know his staff isn’t people I want to live with day to day or share my lifestyle. When people first speak, you know where they’re at, where they’re going, and where they’re staying. Entering they’re all judgmental and controlling 3D minded, living in ”Time” which is made up and in social media and failing their mystery. People who live in Time are afraid of you catching them off-guard as they lie about what they’re selling. Long story short, the manager states any questions I have? (I can go to Shake Shack site if so & he’s asking to see where my mind it at) I ask how soon do you start? and What makes you like to work here? He answers for the benefits =)”. I realized what that benefit was besides the actual benefits of Shake Shacks by how he leads me out, instead of Him actually leading, he ushers me first out the seat towards door so that he can watch how I walk. Oh great, another one, I thought. I’m wearing a long black skirt with my ankles out & black flats and the outside part to my parka coat, a black hooded jacket with waist snatched tied and a chained carry on baby like bag. I look around as I arrive to the broom across door and look towards kitchen as if who will get this open for me?… and he notices and says I got that for you! =)” and I get out and he says have a nice day! and closes door, I say mhm you too. It seems all the managers at the Shake Shacks extends interview dates to my phone with new dates all the time as they’re looking for people they can use rather people that are simply interested & not going by numbers of who applies first. They’re choosey as they need the job more and they’re using it for their benefit and safety. That doesn’t seem natural business like as someone who is rich and just got sent to take care of store, these situations seems more promiscuous. How are you smiley, leader, but not actually leader, and false selling. People who care about looking good while doing evil. I enjoy showing people themselves and making them change with my social impact and guts and leaving off classy. If only people interviewed at such places before they...

The service was fantastic, everyone very helpful and patient, no issues there at all. I was surprised that they bring the food out to you, that was a nice touch.
Bathrooms were clean overall, at least the one I used was. Although, here's your reminder to lock the door! I had an issue where I put the code in because the sign on the door said the restroom was vacant and promptly got yelled at by the person inside, even though THEY forgot to lock it.
Dining space, condiments and water station all very clean and well kept.
If you're here during a busy time, you're likely not going to get a seat. We did have to stand and eat, but that's a non issue for us. We did notice a lot of people take up unnecessary space and seats, a lot of bags on chairs, a guy had his baguette sitting next to him in a chair while he was vaping inside, a party of 2 sitting diagonal from each other with their legs on the chair, the list goes on. I didn't bring this to anyone's attention so that's not on the restaurant whatsoever, they're busy and have other things to do. Judging by the level of service, I trust that If I had brought this up it would have been taken care of promptly.
The chicken sandwich my husband got was bland and dry, so we weren't impressed by that. It definitely wasn't worth the price we paid. I will say the burgers were fantastic and worth their price though. Everything came out piping hot though.
I wouldn't seek out shake shack again, but if I were to happen upon it and needed something to eat I think it's a...
Read moreSo far, this is easily the best Shake Shack I've been to. The people who work here run it extremely well. My experience while placing my order was exceptional. A gentleman named Jesus assisted me. He is outstanding at his job. From the beginning of my encounter to the end, he was super friendly, kind, and always had a smile. During the busy hustle and bustle of New York, having someone treat you just as importantly as the last person and the next person makes you feel good. He is very quick and keeps up with the demand of people waiting on line, and communicates crystal clear making sure everything is done accurately, and even reads your order back to you, clarifying all details and the total cost. He is an excellent first impression of the store and seems to keep up with its high traffic very well. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. He is a hard worker and it shows. That's what hospitality is all about. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Everything was super flavorful and enjoyable. The store is easy to navigate and plenty of space to eat. They even have stand up tables. Overall this is an excellent spot to grab a delicious burger and fries if you're in Times Square....
