Disappointing Experience and Unprofessional Service

I recently decided to try a new pizza place based on its high ratings on Seamless. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, both in terms of food quality and customer service.

I ordered two pizza pies (a pepperoni pizza and a VIP stuffed pizza) and a spaghetti marinara, spending over $73. While the pepperoni pizza and pasta were fine, the VIP stuffed pizza was missing several key ingredients listed on the menu (it only had ham, pepperoni, and cheese, instead of the promised ham, salami, capicola, peppers, onion, and cheese). I took a photo and contacted Seamless, who agreed to a partial refund.

Shortly after, I received a call from Jeff, who I believe is the owner. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, he was extremely rude and aggressive, cursing at me and demanding that I repay the refunded amount because I had already eaten a slice (which was necessary to discover the missing ingredients). His reaction was shocking and completely uncalled for.

As someone who enjoys trying new restaurants, I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior. I urge anyone considering this place to proceed with caution. While the Seamless ratings are high, my experience aligns more with the lower ratings found on Yelp.

Holy pepperoni, where do I even start with Famous Famiglia Pizza? It's like the gods of dough and cheese had a brainstorming session and decided to bless us mortals with the perfect pizza. Walk in, and you're instantly hit by the aroma of freshly baked heaven. The crust? Just the right amount of crunch and chew. The sauce? Tangy and rich, clearly made by someone who understands that tomatoes aren't just for casuals. And the cheese? A melty masterpiece that stretches just the right amount when you take a bite—like a mozzarella symphony in your mouth.

Garlic knots are yummy too. Dang. And don’t waste time getting a salad. Seriously? This is a pizza place. 🙄

The staff is pretty great too. They somehow manage to be friendly without being fake, which is a rare skill these days.

Very rude staff!!! We went to this place while visiting New York on New Years Day. We were so surprised to see the staff ( he could be the owner)so rude!!!! We had planned to order food and when we asked about the restroom, the staff rudely stated to order, pay and then use the restroom. That could have been said nicely too but seems like they take the customers as granted as if they are giving away free food. When we decided to leave, he seemed nonchalant.
