Short: A Resurrection of an old bar that has the space to become something very promising for the area.

Long: I've been living in Astoria for some time now and I've used to walk pass this bar everyday. It just seemed like one of those hole in the wall bars that you wouldn't think twice about going into (I did a few times lol). Over the course of the last few months it has been picking up because of the new owner taking charge and really transforming the bar into something better. The vision and drive that she shows is nothing to be scoffed at, behind the bar she's hussling but also balancing being personable with the customers. She's in her element being a New York native and she knows how to blend the old and the new.

That being said the next coming months it's going to look like that there's a lot of thoughtful developmen at this bar. If you're looking for a bar with roots but isn't a dusty relic and just to chill out before going stroll in the park, this is the spot. You'll definitely find yourself here to unwind but also have a friendly atmosphere after work or just to chill with friends.

I'd say check this place out because you want to become a regular before it actually starts...

Being the degenerates that we are, my friend and I decided to brown bag by the water near our old stomping grounds for nostalgia's sake. While getting to the water, we passed this place, attracted by the name and decided if we still wanted to wet out whistles after we were done, we would go there.
