Astoria Skate Park — Attraction in New York

Can’t believe this park is 10 years old already. One of the first of the new wave of concrete parks in NYC. This is sort of a plaza layout. Every time I have been here on weekends it’s packed with LKW’s. Still one of the best parks in NYC. Good ledges, 1/4 is fun... love a low curb too. Without a doubt one of the most scenic skatepark locations in NYC. Bring the family for a picnic on the waterfront grass. Parking lot is a bonus. Locals take good care of this...

Local kids like to come here with their skate board and rollerblades to practice so they can improve on their skills. Sometimes you will even get kids who come by with a bike wanting to work on doing a few stunts. A relatively recent discovery for me and the skate crew but one thing is for sure, that's our new new warm up spot!!!! Located right on the water on a beautiful sunny day Astoria park is definitely on our radar. Smooth, fast or slow, fun and just a bone stop cruise.
