I visited for the first time a couple of days ago, the day before Thanksgiving, after a friend recommended the spa for massages. I booked a package that included a postnatal massage, facial, and mani/pedi.

The postnatal massage was amazing—5 stars! It was incredibly relaxing, and I’d definitely return just for the massages alone. The facial that followed was also great, leaving my skin refreshed.

Unfortunately, my experience with the manicure and pedicure didn’t meet expectations. My pedicure was messy, with uneven color, streaks, and some polish left on my skin. My manicure had to be redone, but even then, it was still not polished carefully—there were smudges, and the polish chipped the very next day. By Thanksgiving, my nails looked like they were over a week old, and now, just two days later, every single nail is chipped. I’ve never had a manicure wear off so quickly.

I was looking forward to having my nails done for the holidays but will now have to redo them myself. While I was disappointed with the nail services, I want to acknowledge how kind my nail technician was, and the whole staff at the salon was warm and welcoming. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the sandals, warm towels and a sweet treat.

I hope this feedback is helpful, as I would love to return for the massage and facial, but I’m hesitant to book another manicure or pedicure...

I recently visited again after a few years and i noticed that the interior was renovated. I came with my husband to get a couples massage. He got a deep tissue massage (90 mins) and i got a Swedish massage (60mins) because i was going to get a pedicure after. The spa rooms are very plain, just the massage beds and side tables to put your items. I noticed no spa elements like ambient lighting, diffusers etc. which definitely takes away from the spa feeling. My masseuse was good but i think she focused too much on my legs than my back after having mentioned thats where i wanted more attention. My husband also said that he felt his massage was light and was definitely not deep tissue. For my pedicure, i will say that i was very unimpressed. My masseuse was also my nail technician and i didnt notice new tools being used even after i asked. She seemed a bit unexperienced when it came to the pedicure. Overall, i was underwhelmed by the experience and i do think it was overpriced. More than likely will not return unfortunately its not like how...

I go back and forth on this place. We’ve come here about 3-4 times now. And while we always walk away feeling relaxed, it’s never quite been what we expected. The most recent time, for instance, the head brace on my massage table kept dropping. And so at one point I had to support my own head in the air. And then when the masseuse started massaging my head, it was very clear she didn’t really have a plan and was not really interested in finishing the massage. At multiple points she pressed seemingly as hard as she could on my temples for extended periods—leaving bruises several days later. And both my partner and I felt like at other points our masseuses were texting as they were only using one hand and just lightly playing with our hair (or not even moving their other hand on our head). I want to give this another chance, but this last experience in particular left me pretty skeptical about the place. The fruit at the end is...
