I did go back on my next visit to NYC in October 2023. The venue gets better and better. Some reviewers commented on not quite enough bass initially, and Silo added more subwoofers and brought their ginormous subwoofers out from under the stage. You definitely feel the bass inside your body now. I have no idea how some people were able to dance that close to the subwoofers. One thing I particularly like with the venue is they have the lighting effects of the top venues, way beyond what you expect in a venue for 500+ people. Their sound system is elite, and their lighting special effects and video put them over the top. And now lasers!! It is easy to see why to DJs choose Silo for their performances.

I attended a show at the end of March 2023. The venue is in a converted aircraft hangar, and even when full, did not feel crowded in the voluminous space. DJ Natasha Diggs was joined by Soul In The Horn for a night of deep, soulful house and horn-infused treats. There was a cameo appearance by Robin S. It was loud. The sound is outstanding, with bass that you feel. The lights and visuals were amazing, definitely sized for a larger venue. The DJ is in the middle, providing a high energy vibe.

I had some of the best drinks I have had in NYC. They have five house cocktails (the four (I was also there another night) I had were all excellent) and top-shelf liquors are available.

Will definitely be back on my next visit to NYC. Check their calendar as they much more variety in their shows than most venues. Everything from Fred Again to diverse,...

This place is dope. The only question I have is why every weekend I've gone out is the best DJ of the night spinning outside on the street or in the bus? Big shout out to Freaky Frank the best MC I've heard in years and there have been many. Someone out there has got to throw this guy a bone. I can't be the only person that has noticed this. As a follow up. Whether or not you book Frank is purely up to you. I'm not a club owner nor would I know the first thing about managing a club but I do recognize talent and I'm very keen about picking up on the buzz that resonates between my fellow patrons. Obviously I can't predict what tomorrow's buzz will be, but the word on the street is that the people want more of DJ FRANK. Myself included. Something tells me that you probably did already or were planning on booking him soon. You are successful because you are smart, and you work hard to stay successful. All reasons why I continue to come back as often as possible. Thanks for providing a fresh spot where we can all...

This place is all over the place. People have no clue about set times. When I ask about it to the woman at the entrance, she was so arrogant, dismissive and rude. İt s shame that underground music scene is filled with this kind of service. I think artists like Machinedrum deserves better. Don't recommend

Edits : Thanks for quick response. Review is not really about not being able to get info. Maybe I should be more specific about this; I didn't write this with anger or anything. We are all group of audio visual artists from all over the world, who are passionate about this kind music and it is baffling to see this kind of attitude. I think your employees need to relax. They shouldn't casually call people "babe" or anything like that while conversing. This is technically considered as sexual abuse. This is just an honest review about attitude. If they wont be able to provide info and behave, you could have put set times somewhere online maybe ? no need to blame your...

Such a vibe with 3 spaces. The front has the bar bathrooms and some seats. The next room is the dance floor with a lot of seats on the sides. And go through the back door for access to a small outdoor area to smoke or just catch your breath. The music was cool and the DJ's did their thing. It was a nice mix of electronic music and house. They even had a dancer performing on the stage. When they weren't spinning in the air people decided to dance on the stage. I was able to buy some ear plugs and dance the night a way. It looked packed but there was a good amount of seating available to rest. The serve food but at that time they were finished. They have water easy to access and the drinks looked good, just a Lil over priced. Overall enjoyed myself!
