My first experience with Rinse was amazing. All my clothes got washed except for a couple of jackets that were fur and leather (specialty i assume). When my clothes were returned to me they were packed in an amazing order and pickup and drop off was so smooth! Due to that experience I decided that I would do it again pick up was smooth, but this time around upon drop off (please keep in mind these are all if not MOST of the same clothes I washed the first time around) there was at least a full “red” bag that were deemed unable to washed. I was a bit upset but i was just like okay whatever it’s not that much I will just wash it somewhere else. It was the first time it happened and I didn’t take it as anything. Please also keep in mind the price has increased significantly. Upon my third attempt to use rinse (these are the same clothes i wash almost every month) there was a significant increase in the cost of my clothes and THREE FULL RED BAGS RETURNED and I’m going through the tags now to see maybe these tags say they can’t be washed in the machine. There was so much clothes that were able to be washed that they did not wash! With the price of the clothes and the return of the three bags for it to be even MORE money I just felt robbed and so confused. I tried to reach out for some sort of discount or money back because it wasn’t making sense I was just told send us pictures so we can inform our cleaners for the next time. It also seems like they have different cleaners. There was at least one time that I had to send something back with a new load to be washed because it wasn’t properly washed when returned back. Read moreI had the most horrible experience with Rinse. I’ve been using the service for less than a year and have had 2 terrible deliveries. A few months back, I received notification that my laundry was delivered to my apartment, but it was not there. The laundry was delivered to another apartment and I had to speak on the phone with customer service to locate it and get it delivered to my apartment. I should’ve canceled my membership then and there but I didn’t.
During my most recent delivery, half of my clothes were missing. All of my underwear, socks, bras, etc are GONE. I’ve been speaking with rinse on the phone for the last week to track down my bag, but they cannot find it. I was told that if I send them an itemized list of my missing items they would credit my account. They have a list of my missing items, it’s over $600 worth of clothes that I now need to replace. Even with the list, they told me they are still working to track down my bag. It’s been 8 DAYS. My clothes are gone and they will not send me reimbursement for my missing items until they “finish their investigation”. Ive stressed that these are essential items I need to replace immediately. I’ve requested to speak to a manager and no one will connect me. How long does it take to contact your employees?? I also find it unnerving that just my undergarments are missing…. I will never be using this company again and I have canceled the remaining washes on my subscription and requested a refund. This has been a huge inconvenience and the customer service is horrible. Read moreExtremely unreliable and highly recommend looking elsewhere. I had my order cancelled just minutes prior to pickup due to a miscommunication between Rinse dispatcher and carrier. After erroneously cancelling, they were unable to fulfill a new request with a 60 hour turnaround for a single suit dry cleaning.
To summarize experience - I scheduled a pickup through their site for a suit dry cleaning for a Friday pickup. I soon after received a text that carrier would arrive between 8-10 pm the following day. At 10:18, update that carrier would arrive between 10:30-10:45. At 10:27, update that carrier ran into an issue and was unable to fulfill request and cancelled order.
5 minutes later at 10:32, I received a new text from the direct carrier that they were on the way and should arrive in 4 minutes. After 15 minutes past, I texted back if arriving and carrier responded no and that dispatcher cancelled the order.
I went back out to the dispatcher via text & phone after receiving carrier’s message asking what went wrong and attempted to reschedule pickup for Monday with request that order is fulfilled by Wednesday (60+ hours) due to their mistake. To add to their overall unreliability, I was advised that this would not be able to be fulfilled within the 2 & 1/2 day turn around time for a single suit dry cleaning.
Unfortunate situation and understand mix ups happen but lack of response from Rinse to fulfill order in 2 & 1/2 days is alarming after a mix up on...
