Subway — Restaurant in New York

I came into this place on a Wednesday morning and the man behind the counter was making a sandwich, I believe it was a online order. When I came in he looked right at me and didn't even acknowledge me, he was moving slow and just overall looked like he hated working there. It's was another lady behind the counter she was working fast and efficiencly taking care of the other customers. I believe she said her name was Merline. She was awesome and pleasant to talk to and the reason why I felt the need to give such a a high rating to this place. Her customer service skills was great. I wanted to put a bigger tip in the tip jar but because I knew she would have to split the tip with her co-worker who didn't deserve any of my money I put less. But yess, I would come back to this...

The restaurant was clean, bathroom was as well, & seating was available & comfortable. The food was not good -- tasteless. Even the soda was watered down like they used the least amount of syrup possible-- and this was from multiple flavors (there were 5 of us). The toasted sandwich was in the toaster too long as the cheese shriveled & burned. You could not taste the meats on the Italian sandwich!!! I had to clean my pallet with gummy candy just to remove the nasty, bland taste of the sandwich. I had not had a sandwich from Subways in over 3 years, and I was reminded why I stopped...

I really don't like paying for something that I am not receiving and for some reason this particular subway Canarsie Brooklyn, just insist on charging me for a Italian Sub, even though I am ordering a pizza sub with pepperoni and cheese only, toasted with marinara sauce and not even half as much meat. It was actually a store owner in Manhattan who explained to me the difference between the two and everywhere I go I have never paid over 5 dollar but the same lady states they dont sell it, so now I go to their website and there it is 5 Pizza Melt I feel...
