I had the pleasure of dining at Sweet Basil, a delightful Thai food restaurant that left me craving for more. The moment I stepped inside, the cozy ambiance and warm hospitality immediately made me feel at home.
As a fan of Thai cuisine, I was eager to try their signature dishes. Without a doubt, the Mango Chicken stole the show! The succulent pieces of tender chicken, perfectly paired with ripe and juicy mangoes, created a sensational burst of flavors in every bite. The blend of sweet and savory, enhanced by a luscious coconut milk-based sauce, was simply divine. It was a symphony of tastes that danced on my palate, and I couldn't get enough of it.
Equally impressive was their Green Curry, a classic Thai favorite. The aromatic blend of herbs and spices in the velvety green curry sauce was spot-on. The tender chunks of meat and crisp vegetables soaked up the rich flavors, creating a comforting and satisfying dish. Paired with fragrant jasmine rice, it was a culinary experience that transported me to the heart of Thailand.
The service at Sweet Basil was impeccable. The staff was attentive and eager to offer recommendations based on my preferences, ensuring that every dish was tailored to my taste. They also catered to dietary preferences, making it a welcoming place for everyone.
All in all, Sweet Basil surpassed my expectations, and it has become my go-to Thai food restaurant. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine or looking to explore new flavors, I highly recommend indulging in their Mango Chicken and Green Curry. Your taste buds will thank you, and you'll find yourself returning for more of their delectable offerings. Sweet Basil truly captures the essence of Thai cuisine, and it's a restaurant that is sure to leave you with unforgettable memories of...
Read moreI cannot sty enough about this place. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the owner. She looks familiar but I was not sure if it was the same place that had moved from a little further down and then to my surprise I realize it was when she told me. So those of you who are looking for Sweet Basil they just moved up the block a little bit please stop in and get your regular or try something different. The food is absolutely delicious. I had my regular drunken noodle and my girlfriend had Mongolian chicken. I was so upset that I did not order a second order for the next day because my taste buds were crying out can we have some more LOL. The food was perfectly seasoning as usual not too hot not too spicy not to anything. It was absolutely delicious. It was served piping hot from the kitchen. The atmosphere is very quaint and comfy. It's not a very large space I wish it was because I was thinking about having a party there for my retirement perhaps I can speak with the manager and we can work out something. Nonetheless if you want the taste of THAI served with friendly smile, great customer service, and lots of friendly staff members this is definitely the place. I will return again and again and again and again. I'm so glad I...
Read moreTerrible food. Not sure what some of these other people were eating but this was some of the worst Thai food if not the worst I have ever had. Tried the Pad Thai and the coconut noodles. The coconut noodles were okay but not great. Pad Thai is to Thai good what fried rice is to Chinese food (in my opinion) : if it's good than the rest will probably be too. The Pad Thai was so bad and so tasteless. The sauce tasted worse than some really cheap stuff I have had from a bottle. I love Pad Thai so much that I have made my own many times and have eaten it at dozens of restaurants. This is the worst Pad Thai I have ever eaten. If I was not so hungry and my friend apartment was not so food bare, I would have just thrown it away. But decided to drown it sriracha sauce and choke it down. Then felt sick for 4 hours after. Hopefully these guys can get it together or in would not expect them to last very long--Especially...
