I visited today on 4/6/25 at 12pm with family members.
My relative was holding Wingstop from next door and we were standing waiting for my relative to finish ordering. An employee shouted “You cannot have any outside food or drinks, to which I responded, “No problem we are just waiting for my him to order”, pointing at my relative. The employee then repeated the same comment again, to which I responded the same thing. This employee chose to escalate this “issue” to a manager who decided to come around the counter and address me in my face, letting me know the policy and pointing at the sign. I simply let him know the same thing I had told the other employee, and he decided to walk away.
Finding their behavior unprofessional, I approached the front counter and asked for the managers name. He again answered me with the same policy, to which I responded that I don’t have an issue with the policy, I have an issue with the way I was treated. There was clearly a communication problem because I expressed multiple times that I don’t plan on eating outside food within his venue, to which he again repeated the policy (mind you he had AirPods in while speaking with me which I asked him to remove). He continued to refuse to give me his name and attempted to walk away from me while I was asking what his name or another manager’s name is. I found this interaction to be completely unacceptable and was disappointed that he represented Taco Bell and its employees in such a poor manor, being that this is somewhere I typically go to and have never had any problems. I found both the employee and manager’s attitude towards me to be abnormally aggressive, even after I explained multiple times on multiple instances that I had no problem with their policy and was waiting for someone to order. He then told me to “look up news on my phone” to get his name to which I told him I didn’t understand him, and then decided to mutter his name in such a quiet voice intentionally so I could not hear, even after repeatedly asking for him to write his manager’s name down so I could avoid having a blown out conflict in a public setting. I felt humiliated that I was treated in such a way, given I have been frequenting Taco Bell for years now. It was a disheartening experience and I would like to take steps to resolve this issue so it doesn’t happen to others. There is policy which is understandable, but enforcing this policy and better grasp of English for someone in a management position dealing with the general public is something I would certainly recommend in this case. Please reach out to me with any...
Read moreClose to work and the only tb I know in new york with dine in open, I'd say I'm pretty lucky. Only reasons I ain't ratin this one a 5 are specific to ny and tb in the current year really- the food's always cheap (and a dollar cheaper here than at the others I've been to in ny, they dont surge price somehow!) and I've no complaints about it that aren't menu related- taco bell switches out a lot of it's good items for some reason, recently the grilled cheese and 5 layer burritos. Sometimes the doritos locos tacos sweat into the cardboard and back onto the shell which is often messy but I've never been to a tb that doesnt have this problem. This location's only disappointed me with 2 or 3 of those since opening I'd say. Secondarily, months after said opening someguy'd asked me rather rudely for id after I'd given it to the register and folks upfront. Not a cop or nothin but an employee, I didnt do it and nothin happened, but it was rather rude. Pretty sure it had somethin to do with ny covid stuff that ain't really my problem, but that was the last time it happened. Final problem's that the wifi intermittently breaks and doesnt return for days or weeks, which isnt a problem if you've data and dunkin donuts nextdoor offers it aswell. Best of luck to the nice folks runnin this place though, apart from the one guy every experience I've had here's been pretty nice! Orders're dead...
Read moreI went there today to pick up 3 items, 2 breakfast crunchwraps and an ice coffee. I used my mobile app so it would be quicker, well 20 mins later I still didn't have my full order. Mind you NO ONE was in there when I went in. Two people working and I think a manager was trying to fix the ice machine. THEN they asked me what my order was because they LOST my ticket!! So I showed them AGAIN what I ordered. The girl working there was totally clueless. She brought me PART of my order and I said I still need another crunchwrap, she smiled and said a bag? She proceeded to put my order in a bag and handed it to me. I said I'm still missing a wrap and she looked at me like she had no idea what I was talking about! She went to the other guy working there and he didn't understand what was going on either. The manager FINALLY came over and by this time there were 4 other people also waiting, one that just decided to leave. The "manager" didn't offer much help either. FINALLY 20 minutes later I walked out with my order!!! I will NEVER go to to this taco bell again and I'll make sure I tell my friends not to go...
