SOUTH BEACH of NY , Olympia Bar & Lounge — Restaurant in New York

I went to to south beach to celebrate a friend's birthday, and I was truly disappointed. It seems like they were understaffed. The food was subpar, and service was slow. The main issue was the prices for the bottles. $350 for Don Julio. After I bought one bottle, a friend of mine said the girl at the bar was pouring the drinks heavy so I decided to buy three drinks of just straight Don Julio which came up to $68 smh!! I watched her pour the drink straight from the bottle, but it did not taste like Don Julio at all, which puzzled me. My friend continued to buy drinks from the bar, but I just felt like something wasn't right. By the end of the night, I saw the guy cleaning up, and he gathered all the Don Julio bottles and brought them back to a room behind the bar. Mind you, these bottles were empty, but when he came out of that room with the bottles, they were now full, and he was wiping off the run off of whatever he poured into the bottles. After that, he put the pouring spouts on them and put them back behind the bar. Don Julio is a sooth tequila, and what they were giving was harsh. I believe it was Jose quevo. Basically, they're charging you for top shelf but pouring from the bottom shelf. That experience alone will keep me from ever returning to that establishment. If you decide to go there just pay attention. Order a Jose quevo and a Don Julio, and I promise you it will...

Where to even begin... The outside looks just as bad as the inside with that horrible sloppy art that should've been your first sign to stay away. Everything is overpriced and the hookah is definitely not recommended due to lack of cleaning and actual care. The drinks are very watered down and lack any sort of flavor. The food is a complete hit or miss and don't really recommend ordering anything other than water or bottled beer. You can't even watch any big PPV events due to technical issues all the time and lack of organization when ordering items. You're far better off going somewhere else on Steinway with better service and better food/drinks. The owners lack any sort of direction with the place and clearly don't know how to run a business. I am trying to book for my sister's 35th birthday and they are very unprofessional. My sister reached out 2 weeks ago and has failed to hear anything back. I reached out and have not heard anything back. You want to charge 1k for tables but can't give 1k customer service is a joke. You need to do better and stop false advertising on your website about instant responses. You're not that busy because patronage has dropped because of poos customer service.
