Taverna Pizza — Restaurant in New York

Very good value for $1.50. Good flavor (but a little heavy on the oregano). Decent coverage of cheese and sauce. Thin, chewy crust with crisp edge and good flavor. Not sure exactly what kind of cheese this is (could be casein) because it stays melted at low temperature. But the taste is good. Mushroom slice was $2, with ample topping coverage. Good enough that I went back for the second slice. I'll give this one a 92. To make it better, I would cut down on the oregano, and use a tomato sauce that has more of the traditional acidic plum...

when i came to this restaurant i had 1 slice from then i eat here almost all the time foods great and service is great theyre really friendly people pizzas crunchy with a thin crust the pizza was made perfectly and thae garlic knots were made with perfect amount of garlic. The prices are great as well theyre specials are delicious and theyre not expensive at all the decor is nice and comfy and its not to plain i loved that they talk to you like family and I definitely will come back to...

I was walking past this place with my wife and decided to pop in and check out the menu. The food selection was pretty vast so we decided to sit down. We were greeted by the friendly staff and were seated by the front. We ordered the skirt steak and sea bass. We were blown away by the presentation and the taste of the food. We could tell the quality of the food was grade A. I recommend this restaurant...
