Went to this bar when it was a divey polish bar once and really love how it felt like a VFW hall but kind of felt the old Polish patrons wanted to murder me. Now since it was gentrificated like everything else around I feel just slight disdained from the bartenders that seem pretty too cool for school. They kept the bones of the place so it maintains its VFW look but with a bunch of beautiful hipsters like fresh of an American Apparel ad. The Palace is a fantastic bar in Greenpoint. It's pretty huge. There's a front side and a back room. Karaoke and other live band performances occur here. The huge tV monitor makes it easy. It's my favorite location for Karaoke. The bar has a good selection of beer. They serve all the liquors you would expect from a Brooklyn bar. They serve food as well but the kitchen closes at 11pm.
