I was ecstatic earlier this year when I found out that Tim Hortons was finally coming to my neighborhood of Fresh Meadows, Queens, NY. I fell in love with this franchise in 1994 when I visited my first Tim Hortons in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. I was also ecstatic when Tim Hortons opened at 2 Old Country Road, Westbury, NY more than a decade ago. The staff there are simply outstanding in terms of their service, quality of food and beverage and "warp" speed response. So, expecting the same, I showed up at my local Tim Hortons on their opening day and have been there about a dozen times. Every visit has been a disappointment with poorly trained and lazy staff, extremely slow service (having to repeat the orders multiple times) and terrible customer service but most importantly, the low quality of food and beverages. My visit this evening at approximately 7:15 pm was the last straw, and I vowed never to go to this Tim Hortons again. I ordered tea but the young Indian man told me he would check inside for tea bags; he took a peek inside the door and within a second, turned and said to me that they were out of tea bags. Then, I ordered 20 Timbits. Instead of putting them in a box (usual service by Tim Hortons), he started stuffing them in a paper bag, and I had to shout twice at him to put them in a box after which it took him another five minutes to fold the box and put the Timbits inside. I ordered a couple of plain old fashion doughnuts which he proceeded to stuff in the same box with the Timbits; again, I had to stop and tell him to put them in a separate paper bag; he put the two doughnuts in another box. Meantime, the other girl was repeatedly asking him if I had paid; all she had to do to find out was to check the monitor which I could see from behind the counter as well. By the time I got my Timbits and doughnuts (minus my tea), I had been standing there for over 10 minutes. If this franchise wants to stop tarnishing Tim Hortons' good name, they need to ask for help in training their staff from the awesome staff at Tim Hortons at 2 Old Country Road, Westbury. What a disappointment this Tim Hortons in my neighborhood has been! Having been to hundreds of Tim Hortons in the US and Canada in almost three decades, I can say that this Tim Hortons is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my first time purchasing from Tim Horton. Iām highly disappointed. I asked for the caramel apple iced latte. The taste was horrible and it looked nothing like the picture that was promoted. Iām not sure if it was made the correct way but it didnāt taste good at all. No whip cream or caramel drizzle on top. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI absolutely love this Tim Hortons, I always end up stopping every Thursday after I get paid to bring home donuts for my family. They love them and so do I. They already taste fresh and are soft and absolutely delicious. The young woman who works there at night, I believe her name is Sadia is amazing, she's such a sweetheart and I always make sure to stop in when she's working. This is the route I take home from work. I have one by my apartment but it absolutely doesn't compare to this one, I rather go out of my way to this location not only for how good it is but also because of the service. I'm never...
