First of all, Moge and it’s Asian-style milkshake-type (bubble milk tea is what I associate most with the genre) menu, is 1 of 2 cafes located awkwardly directly across from each other on the same street. The other, on the right side of the street (right according to the oneway direction of the cars), is CoCo. For quite some time, I only went to CoCo. To be fair, I hadn’t known Moge existed. CoCo, which also has a little parking lot encompassing the corner of the block, is more visually prominent. The other night though, I head over, feeling an insatiable fiending urge for a Taro Bubble Milk Tea. It was 10:05 pm…and they were closed! Foolish of me not to have checked beforehand but it always seemed like the kind of place frequented by young people in the latter hours of the night. In my frustration, I knocked on the door anyway (I could see a light on in the kitchen, maybe whoever was cleaning be kind enough to make me something quickly). Someone did come out, but alas, had no interest in making me something. But he did say “Don’t worry, just go to Moge across the street?” Me: “Huh? There’s another one of these joints right across the street? Don’t mess with me!” Him: “Seriously!” And he stepped outside to point it out to me.
I didn’t feel stupid for not having noticed it until then…it’s not as conspicuously and colorfully marketed from the outside. But, after ordering my same usual favorite - a large Taro Bubble Milk Tea - I officially became a Moge convert (sorry CoCo). A) longer hours, and I need that late night flexibility B) slightly cheaper for the same drink ($.50 difference but still) C) Overall, CoCo is MUCH slower at processing orders when there’s a significant line. Meanwhile, there were already 8 customers inside Moge when I walked in and only 1 had already ordered at that point, yet in part bc of self-order machines and just sharper serviceX I finished ordering within 2 min of walking in, had my drink less than 5 min since walking in.
They have nearly identical menus, on either side of the same street, literally directly facing each other. But if you ask me, Moge...

Moge Tea is an absolute gem for bubble tea lovers! My daughter and I are always exploring different bubble tea spots, and Moge Tea quickly became one of her favorites. The drinks are incredibly fresh, with a perfect balance of flavors and sweetness. We tried their classic milk tea with boba, and it was amazing—the pearls were soft, chewy, and just the right texture.
The menu has a great variety of options, from classic teas to creative fruit blends, so there’s something for everyone. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, making it a great place to relax or grab a drink on the go. The staff was also super friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience.
The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 stars is that it can get a bit crowded during peak hours, and the wait time was slightly longer than expected. But honestly, the quality of the drinks makes it worth it. If you’re a bubble tea fan or just looking for a delicious treat, Moge Tea is a must-try. My daughter is already asking when we can...
Read moreI visited around 3 o'clock yesterday. The drink wasn't the best, but it was acceptable. However, there's something I need to report: that short girl doesn't know how to take orders. As an employee, that's crazy. She saw me and told me to wait a moment, so I said okay. While she walked to the back, I don't know what she was doing. After about 5 minutes of waiting, she finally brought someone who was able to take my order. He was very respectful to me, but what's up with these workers these days? They can't do a simple task? Or did she just not want to take my order because I'm Arabic?
Once again, This girl today who looks like she’s around 5’6 gave me the worst possible impression. The drink today was fantastic it was the mango tea with cream. Her look made me think that no other worker but the dude with glasses is welcoming and knows what they are doing.
Moges manager should definitely do some extra training for those who look like they don’t...
