Tommy's Pizza — Restaurant in New York

The pizza is excellent but the customer service is a joke. Good thing the pizza speaks for itself because otherwise these people wouldn't survive in NY doing any other job with their pathetic lack of customer service. The girl at the register is nasty and the main guy who makes the pizza is douchey (for lack of a better word, but very accurate). The older man who puts the pizzas in the ovens is fine... Their daddy? It is not "cool" to be obnoxious. Maybe if you are 15 but not as grown adults. Don't they understand that customers purchasing their product is why they have jobs? I am a business owner here in the Bronx and I love interacting and appreciating my customers. And I am sure as they read this they are laughing instead actually being mature enough to make the choice to improve this aspect of their business. Very racist place; I don’t care if the pizza is good, and they never have gloves on, they handle the cash and the food at the same time; I’m a Latin person and I’m force to come here at times by my pregnant 🤰🏻 wife who likes the pizza, but I’m telling you, just go inside if you are a Latin or Black person and stand there and watch the other ethics people come in and you will see how they get a total different treatment; I think I’m calling the NYC health department on them; if you must go here; by far the early staff is way better and more friendly; the afternoon staff looks like they hate their life and are sick of making 🍕; just order from cestra pizza, just as good pizza; and the big guy who handles the food, omg please put...

The NY style pizza is Good, however the staff here are PREJUDICE! I have been bringing my child to the dance studio for some time and she loves to go to Tommy's afterward. I noticed they treat the white customers differently than other races. I've seen and experienced my self how polite and willing they are to help the white customers first and will ignore, be rude and handle the payment with an attitude to Black and Hispanic customers. I went today and had the same experience again, for the last time! It doesn't matter how good the pizza may be , I refuse to give my money to this prejudice...
