I came in with a friend just to enjoy a couple of drinks, but the experience was extremely unprofessional, rude and unsafe. Out of nowhere a fight broke out by the hallway to the kitchen. As the owner rushed toward the commotion, he ran into me and elbowed my head so hard that it began to feel tender and is now a lump. My friend saw it happen and even saw my face shake from the impact.
What made the situation worse and pissed me off is that he never apologized and when I confronted him about it, he tried to claim it was his sweater that hit me— likeeeee??? My head feels hot, I didn’t imagine my head being hit, AND my friend saw the whole thing. Instead of taking accountability he laughed like it was a joke (buddy I ain’t laughing, my head began to hurt) and he brushed it off, completely unprofessional and disrespectful for an establishment that prides themselves the best bar in Brooklyn, get them Corona vibes out my neighborhood.
The environment was chaotic, full of drama, drinks were wrong (I ordered a mojito and got tequila in the drink instead of rum smh), clearly the bar isn't being managed well, it’s plain messy and again UNPROFESSIONAL — ratchet. The service was good, the person that served my friend and I drinks was polite and after the impact my head received, I asked one of the waitress’s if she can get me ice which she kindly did hence why I gave the service 4 stars. I paid our bill and left due to what had just occurred and the disrespect I received from the owner. I felt uncomfortable and guilty that I had wasted my friends time — she’s a head nurse at a hospital in queens and is rarely available to go out however I thought this places would be nice chill vibes according to how they heavily promote themselves on socials which btw is not realistic, they far from what they show on social media…... If you value professionalism, chaotic free environments, safety, and basic customer care, I would not spend my money here, I’m a person that can spend a week worth of paycheck in one sitting for HIGH QUALITY drinks however this...
Read moreI stopped by to check this place out since it’s a new spot in the neighborhood, but I left disappointed. I ordered two cocktails and both were watered down and flavorless. I also noticed several liquor bottles behind the bar had no labels, which is pretty suspicious in my opinion, customers deserve to know what’s being poured into their drinks. The food was just okay and honestly overpriced for what you get. The DJ was pretty good, but that was the only highlight of the place. Overall, this bar feels overhyped and the reviews don’t match the actual experience, the place is lackluster. There are definitely better options...
