When asked if I could return a lipgloss I had purchsed hours earlier, the cashier at the front indicated the manager was not in to issue a potential refund. However, she kindly retrieved a long, dark haired girl to assist me. I told her the gloss made my kips burn, that I wouldnt be able to use it. She wen towards the back, and had me wait an extended period of time. So, I decided to walk towards the back to address the young girl she had been speaking with, directly.

The young girl claime to be the "manager" and "owner" of the business. The matter was simple: you sell a product that highlights itself as having hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, implying it is hydrating and soothing, instead I experience burning and stinging upon application. The "owner/manager" stated the product was a "plumper," and it's ingredients causes the stinging sensation. When asked what those ingredients were, she was unable to relate. Furthermore, she stated that ALL plumpers have a stinging effect because that is what causes the lips to plump. And, that is NOT true. Cinnamon, menthol are two ingredients that causes lip irritation, and not all plumper contain them.

Not only is this girl unknowledgeable about her products, but she is also incapable of de-escalating matters with dignity, respect and grace, as she also decided that being rrude , condescending and indignant is the best way to treat a customer. When I pointed out how she was mishandling herself, she acknowledged it and continued to raise her voice to me. Put off by her behavior, I told her to keep the money. On my way out, I changed my mind because I was going home without a product, without my money and a horrible experience! I am so glad I went back on that line to get my money back, because she then decided to shame me for it in front of all the other customers. Coming back to verbally attack me for getting MY money back!

For the real owner/manager who hired this girl (whos name starts with a J) you have yourself a BIG liability there! You not only lost my patronage but my family's and their friends too!

I've lived near this store my whole life and have come to this beauty supply store occassionally for cheap lipsticks and small acrylic jars. Today, I went in searching for a specific item: Eco gel. I was looking around quickly til I found the gel aisles and I noticed their "security" dude or whatever he is was following and watching me. I didn't find the gel and at that point felt too uncomfortable to ask so I went to the hair tie section to look for "scünci" hair ties. I didn't see them because I was looking in a rush, so I left and the dude grabs my arm and wants to search my bag. I KNOW I did nothing wrong so I hand him my bag and let him search. He keeps searching and taking everything out and he's telling the cashier he doesn't find anything and she's giving him a signal as if to keep searching. That is beyond embarassing and ridiculous to make someone look like a thief and feel like a criminal when they did nothing wrong except consider shopping in your store. NEVER shopping here again and telling everyone I know not to either. I was a cashier twice growing up. I know good and well that people steal, but I would never accuse someone of stealing without any reason. Get some damn cameras if you are so worried about people stealing your...

I wish I could give no stars only because of the nasty disgusting attitude of one specific young lady I encountered there today. I live in upper Glendale where there is literally no beauty supply stores. I am a Latina with a very kinky curl. I love my neighborhood but unfortunately there are no great stores that cater to my type of hair not even the local cvs. I decided to pay this beauty supply store a visit for my hair care needs because I had been there before a few years ago and I knew they had what I wanted. I also wanted to pick up several makeup items. When I arrived the young lady looked at me so annoyed that I was there was so early she had such a nasty demeanor but I ignored it because I needed my products. I had a long list of things I needed so I was there for probably over 40 minutes. I started to notice that every aisle I was in she was in and just looking nasty. Then I noticed pictures of shop lifters and I thought to myself ohhh she thinks I may want to steal. I was dressed so down because I work a professional job Monday through Friday so Saturday’s I bum it if I have nothing to do.
