So much fun to eat here. Lots of ice cream and ice. Dozens of flavors for each. Many vegan ice choices and a few vegan ice cream selections.
The staff is very friendly and family-owned. Dog friendly. Bring your puppy for some free ice cream.
My favorite ice flavors are pistachio, bubble gum, and cotton candy. They will sell by the pint or quart, too
Kosher dairy. Large sitting area. Get some Italian from piccolo next store and wash it down with dessert here.
Hit up prospect park across the street. Free street parking. Some times and days are easy some others are hard.

Only complaint is that it's a very busy hot Sunday at 3PM on Mother's Day (peak activity at the park) and there is only ONE woman serving all the ice cream and ices, while the older man was ringing everyone up. He needed guidance on prices from the woman serving everyone. The line was 25 people long. We had to wait 20 minutes until we got to the window.
It's worth the wait, but in times like these when it's hard to know how busy it will be, I would assume this establishment can have a list of backup servers that can step in. It's not summer yet so I understand not hiring yet but there should be some preparation for April/May...

While running in the park, my friend and I someone badly injured, she stayed with the injured person, while I sprinted to try and find a first aid supplies.. I ran to Uncle Louie’s like a madman (frantic and out of breath).. they didn’t hesitate or ask questions, they immediately brought out their first aid kit and gave me everything I needed.
