Vinny's Pizzeria — Restaurant in New York

As a true Latino new yorker from the 80’s & 90’s growing up in Astoria queens in a original pizzeria ambiance neighborhood I think I can honestly say I know a good original classic pizza when I see one. While driving around with my wife in bayside I saw Vinny’s pizzeria and decided to try a single slice since i didn’t know if I would like it. BUT !!! then I saw pepperoni slices and when I saw the size of the pepperonis it reminded me of an old pizzeria back in the 80’s&90’s. So I decided to buy 2 slices one regular and one pepperoni 🍕. Boy was i surprised! This pizza taste transported me back to my young years. So we decided to drive back to get 2 more slices and found out it was a family business. Pizza’s ok, price is alright for bayside like he complained to me about he never raised the price for 6 years… look I didn’t demand for free soda I believe i asked you politely do i get free soda for ordering pizza tmi but for me it’s been more than years for me to order pizza at pizzeria and place that I ordered before gave me small free soda, i just asked the guy at the counter looked like an owner never demanded or anything, he suddenly looked so annoyed and explained and complained to me about history of this pizzeria and even with inflation and covid, he never raised the price for 6 years blah blah… so you thought i would be an easy target to complain because I’m just small asian girl huh? bad service lady charged me...

Horrible customer service!

1. I ordered through Grubhub.
2. Delivery ETA extended by 20 minutes(not a problem).
3. I receive a call from the restaurant, did not get the women's name, and I wasn't given any clear information(problem!).
4. Throughout the entire call, there's some guy in the background screaming as if I'VE done something wrong(problem!).
5. THEN woman tells me that drivers don't pick up orders if they don't see a tip included(I added under Delivery Instructions: "TIP IN CASH!".

Conclusion:

Save yourself the hassle(in case there's a problem) and go somewhere else, these people don't...
