Love HK style cafes (茶餐廳) and want more of them to succeed. Ordered two breakfast items: set B and set D for takeout.

Food. Pretty good! Set B's instant noodles were springy, with savory fried egg and nicely fried spam. Spam wasn't overly salty either so that was a big plus for me. The soup was rich and had umami. There was also a side of buttered soft toast came with the instant soup noodles, but it wasnt very memorable. Meal came with a drink, so I took a hot milk tea with it. Milk tea was ok Light on sugar and milk. Worth mentioning is that they place paper covers over the drinks and then plastic lids over them to prevent spillage. Very thoughtful.

Set D's stir fried noodles combined good soy sauce flavor that didn't over power, buy accompanined the green onions or bean sprouts in the dish very well. The seaweed wonton soup had good amount of wonton to soup ratio. Soup also had tiny dried shrimps to enhance the flavor. Overall, the less heavy wonton soup was a good accompaniment with the more salty stir fried noodles. Meal also came with a drink. Took a soy milk for this one. Drink was ok. Somewhat light on the soy flavor.

Service: good and friendly service. You can order your meal on a nearby tablet or with the cashiers/servers. If you choose to sit, the order takers will bring your meal to your table. Meal is paid for when ordered so I don't suspect tipping is required. Ordered the meal on a relatively not so busy weekend around 1048am. My two order breakfast sets took exactly 20 min to come out. A tad slown considering it didnt look like there was that many orderes at the time. Call and order ahead of time. Went back to get my dog out of the car for a quick walk around the street and the girl who took my order was nice enough to bring my order out to me.

Ambiance: they put some heavy into making the place look nice and cozy. It felt welcoming inside and the color coordination of the cafe was good. Nice place definitely to sit down and have a quiet conversation with friends and family during your meal. Seating is not that spacious though, so I won't recommend party sizes of more than 3-4 people.

Would recommend these kind of restaurants all day long. If prices here were a little lower,...

Caution! Terrible Service!

I would give 0 star, if the system allows me to. The prices listed on the menu are not the price you will be paying! The cashier didn't give me a receipt until I specifically asked for one, which is very suspicious. After I got the receipt, I noticed that there was a significant difference on price. The cashier's attitude was horrible. I politely reminded him that they should put a note on the menu about the outdated prices. His excuse was he was just a worker, NOT the boss, have no control over it!! What a terrible excuse! He also lied, claiming he had informed every customer, but other customers in the store confirmed they were unaware of the price changes too. Cashier did not give them a receipt, neither. Why not giving customers their receipts? Dishonest pricing and bad attitude! 👎 This is the first and last time! No business and I will tell all of my friends and neighbors to avoid this place since they do not care about the customers! P.S. the BBQ skewers were SUPER salty! I think "Yummy Noodle House" next door is a much...

As we received a coupon so decided to give it a try 😀 We ordered the followings: 1.Combo of Chicken w basil over Rice (extremely salty!) Combo of Pork Chop over soy sauce fried noodles (pork chop was dry. Noodles was acceptable) BLT sandwich (good) Wonton in soup (wontons too salty that you don't taste any favors) Honey butter mix fruit toast box (OK but not worth $14 ... Simply three thick toasts with layers of bananas and top with a few strawberries and ice cream, sprinkle with a bit gold flakes) Combos came with a small salad which is lettuce and cherry tomatoes. They were very fresh. And came with sweetened ice tea which is OK.

We are party of 4 and we spent more than one hour dine in. Some customers didn't clean up , although it's a self serve small cafe. The cashier came out to clean up from time to time , but she never wipe the tables and only took away the plates, etc. No wonder the tables full of stains and dirty....

You will get 5% off if you pay by cash. However, cannot combine with the...

Once my niece heard I wanted to check out snack mood she was excited to go again for the second time. The space is welcoming with cute portraits and light colors that would be appealing for kids and adults. Portion size is on the small side but with the kids enjoying the meal that was all that mattered. They enjoyed everything from the fries that had a light seasoning to the pineapple slush. This is a great addition to the neighborhood. Another plus was the lady that served us asked whether or not we wanted to add spice to the chicken skewers. Since it was the kids eating it, it was good for it not to be spicy so they would be able to enjoy it. I look forward to going back again and trying other things on the menu.
