MY FAMILY AND I WILL NOT BE SUPPORTING THIS LOCATION UNTIL MANAGEMENT IMPROVES. The young black “manager” there is struggling to keep everything together. She dismissive, unusually cruel to uber drivers/doordashers. Wasting Wendy’s company food/money/time. The management needs management sad to say. I went in 11:30pm 8/18 and they had no system for the uber drivers/doordashers. I’m sitting in 1hr+ drive through line which is fine for me and my husband but I witness NUMEROUS uber pick ups complaining that their cancellation rate will go up because the 3rd shift doesn’t have a decent system for them to pick up the order separate from us regular customers buying our food. EXTREMELY disgusting to see how those people were treating. One lady even begged the “manager” to have someone take the uber names at the door. “ the young black manager said “she can’t do nothing ALL UBER DRIVERS/DOORDASH will have to sit in the 1hr + regular driver through line to pick up orders” one uber driver said it’s a $3 order and she was devastated she had to cancel the pick up. They told her to cancel the order if she didnt get in the line. Poor girl was begging for them to check the already made uber food bagged on the counter. I counted 10 bags with the blue sticker just sitting there getting cold. Manager said “NO, she won’t do that, the place is rented they can’t do anything for the uber drivers get in line” Wasted money, time, efforts, they need a better system. She and many other drivers left asking for them to create a system for late night uber drivers. I recommend having an employee take names at the door and hand the drivers the bags. Invest in a door bell and that should help. The young black manager also told her they are renting the place they can’t just “cut a window out the wall” i was super taken back. She seemed upset at the poor confused driver. Not only was it disgusting but dehumanizing to witness. I didn’t even want my food anymore. She didn’t have to treat the uber driver with so much dismissal. WENDYS FIX THE UBER/DOORDASH PICK UP SYSTEM FOR THE 3rd SHIFT THEY NEED HELP. FEMALE MANAGER on that shift NEEDS SUPERVISION and a customer service class. :( couldn’t even enjoy my food driving home thinking of those poor pick up drivers. This was a lot worst then i could explain. I hope this helps those people. I’m a streamer so I will be sharing experience on my platforms. I couldn’t...
Read more2023- Seems like a repeat of my review from last year.
Placed a mobile order to be picked up at 10:35am. I arrived on time, went inside thinking it'll be ready as I walk in. No instead I stood watching 4 employees work hopelessly slow.
I watched the 2 people on the pickup side eventually get their food and leave, I watched an airport employee get his food and leave. I watched as 2 Spanish speaking ladies get there order taken, watched as their food was packed and the leaving. Have I gotten my food yet? No. Have I been asked if I had a mobile order? No. I was never even acknowledged.
I need to work on that anti-invisiblity spell.
After 10 minutes of standing AT the counter I spoke out loudly,. I asked if anyone was going to ask me why I was still standing here? Now all of a sudden they see me.
They asked about my order. They can't find the receipt. The Manager puts my fries in the bag and apologizes. I say to him and it's true, everyone wants to apologize but never does anything to fix the problem. The cashier hands me my shake. I wanted to try the new strawberry but only had chocolate.
I get it the employees are young they don't grasp customer service skills but the Manager isn't young and should have known better.
This place is a failure on so many levels. Let me at this store and I could get it running the way it should be run.
2022 - Walked in, went to pick up. Waited and waited and waited to be acknowledged. A delivery guy came in and she asked him what he was there for, still ignoring me. So as he was about to answer I loud proclaimed that I was here before he walked in. I also added so because he's a man he is served first.
And this is why, restaurants staff can be treated so badly. They purposefully ignore customers and get upset when we bring it to...
Read moreGreat place to go if in the jfk area and using the services or working for the many different airline opportunities. There aren’t many places to eat once you enter the airplane zone. So either you get something a few exits beforehand (but maybe you’re in a rush and mixed some easy on and off exits), at the airport (w/ price hikes) or afterwards (at the point of hungry if not the latter options). This Plaza center or somewhat of a rest stop has gas, fast food, 711, vacuum stations, air for tires, and even a car wash. So this is the one place I found in the area when either working or traveling to stop by if I have time, if I’m hungry, need to fill up on gas (prices are decent), or need a quick rest stop.
Oddly, there is a nice sized parking lot, which is so rare for New York City. You can easily find parking here and a lot of limo/taxi ppl, young locals also will find around. There are bathrooms to use and they have kiosk machines like the lottery play, reprinting keg machine, fresh orange juice squeezed, and some other little stand that has phone chargers and other gadgets one might need when on the road. The Wendy’s here also has a drive thru and it goes pretty quickly, compared to the McDonalds in that vicinity, you...
