Whitepoint Pizza — Restaurant in New York

Went here last week for an online order, I accidentally placed for delivery, made sure to call right away and explain the mistake and ask if I any come get it for pickup instead. To which the employee on the phone was nothing but rude and made it very clear he was rushing me off the phone.

Now I thought nothing of it at the time other than sure the interaction was rude but maybe they were just super busy and were having a bad day. I’ve been there myself as I work in customer service as well. However, my husband and I decided to try it again, so we’re order there again for delivery and once our delivery driver got here not only did he pick up the phone call (and once again) was in a rush to hurry me to come get the pizza and rushing me to get off the phone.

So my husband goes to get the pizza and when my husband goes to tell the guy have a great night and thank you, the delivery driver starts to say nasty things to and trying to guilt and intimidate my husband into giving him a cash tip.

We will NOT be buying from this establishment again, I don’t ever mind tipping especially again, this coming from someone who works in customer service as well, but it is NOT my responsibility to pay YOUR employees wages and then have to be guilted and intimidated by them into giving them cash...

After a nearly 10 minutes (there is a clock behind the counter) of being ignored at the counter...and I mean the 5 or 6 people working wouldn't even make eye contact with me and I was leaning on the counter with a $20 in my hand. I asked if anyone was taking care of the counter, one person stepped up. I usually get two pieces and I ask them not to heat it up, how long does it take to put 2 pieces in a box? Then another person doesn't tell me what by bill is, goes to grab the money out of my hand, I commented to him, now you're going to rush ME? The owner (I think) was walking behind the counter and asks whats going on, so I tell him. Instead of an apology, he whines to me about how busy they are. Too busy to take care of the counter? There was only one table of three seated and no one waiting. The whole time I watched one person after another picking up their phone orders, but they couldn't take a minute to take my order? Now I know why...why no the place wasn't crowded on a Friday and why the phone was ringing off the hook.....the service is terrible. On another note, their delivery guy, regularly parks his beige Lincoln illegally...

Terrible customer service. This place gives me bad vibes. Everyone looks miserable and unfriendly. Staff serves your food with an attitude. When I walked in, I told the person behind the counter Im here for a grubhub pickup. He didnt even acknowledge me or ask how I was doing. Just asked me my name and handed me my food. When I told him have a good night, he just ignored me. Bad manners all around.

As for the food, I ordered a stromboli and a chicken marsla hero. When I unwrapped everything, it was cold and soggy so cant even say the food was decent. Womt be coming back here, mainly for the bad attitude but also food wasnt great. There are better pizza restaurants out there who will serve u with a smile. Thats just...
