Y&S Deli — Restaurant in New York

Smell cigarette smoke? That's just the owner, and he's not putting it out. I have been going to this deli for years. And, today was the day where I walked in and smelled cigarette smoke all over the store. This has happened before, but, today, is when I found one of the employees -- who says he's an owner sitting near the beer refrigerator on a crate smoking as if he were on a stoop, and not a food establishment. When I asked him to put it out, he got belligerent, and yelled at me. As if this isn't the law. As if there's no such thing as the health department. Rather than complying with the law, it was easier for him to berate me, and threaten to never allow me to shop there again. Other than the morning crew--this place doesn't have much going for it anyway. Don't go here if you have smoke allergies or asthma--this owner...

bomb as deli that really hits it outta the park. the BLT was one of the best i've ever had and the service is above what you might find in most delis. i dropped something inside the store and they hollared at me from down the street to return. wish i lived...
