I used to work 4 years at a French Style Cafe as a barista. And had training on how to make specialty coffees
I so badly wanted to like the coffee here because it’s such a cute shop and the staff are so friendly!
Unfortunately, the coffee just isn’t worth the price… the taste is mediocre. But the reason for the bad review is this; There’s a specific barista who “stirs” iced lattes once the lid is on - which means she rotates the cup in a circle a bunch - the result is the coffee spills out of the lid and drenches it. So when you take it to go, and try to drink, you get iced coffee dripping all over your clothes. I had to ask for an extra lid to prevent this. However, they should be mixing it before they put the lid on to prevent this. Easy fix but they do this every. single. time…
I’ve asked for hot lattes with extra foamy/steamed milk and, again, a specific barista (different from the one above) always ignores this request and gives me basically warm milk. Their normal standard for steamed milk, it seems, is barely steamed; hence why I ask for extra foamy.
Their iced mocha is WAY too much chocolate… it’s actually disgusting. Again though, I believe a specific barista is ignoring their “procedure” and eyeballing the measurement. She puts the ice in and then fills with chocolate. And this, I believe, is what is causing the measurement to be wrong.
So disapointing and I’ve been trying to give them a chance for over a year now but I’ve finally decided I will not go back. I first refused to get hot coffee and just stick with iced, but now I cant even enjoy a simple iced latte… I’ve tried to simplify my order to the simplest of drinks (and iced vanilla latte) and then the lid issue arose. It’s too expensive for the issues I’m having. I’d rather just go to Starbucks for bad coffee and bad service to save a buck.
Also annoying because you have to pay for parking unless you’re lucky. So you’re really spending nearly $15 for iced latte....

You can't go wrong with the regular drip coffee, or the espresso-based drinks. Prices are great, and the staff always makes an effort to give you a good experience. It's clear everyone enjoys working there. If you're socially anxious or struggle with making in-person orders, they're always very helpful and understanding, and will sometimes give you suggestions about their favorite way to enjoy a drink. All of the non-dairy milks are currently of no extra charge, which I am sooo thankful for as a lactose-intolerant person. If you're a Starbucks regular, come give Little Goat's brews a try. You won't regret it (and you might save a bit too). Also, if they have a specialty drink on the board for the day (and you're an adventurous type), it's always worth to try, no matter how crazy it sounds. They really do a great job balancing flavors to make some memorable stuff. (Root beer latte I miss you...) My current faves are the Peru drip, and the Matcha latte with some Vanilla flavoring. The Winter Warmer is delicious as well, though it'll be gone soon with the turn...

If you’re looking for nuanced micro-roasted coffee delicacy, look elsewhere.
5 stars for service, 5 stars for atmosphere, and 5 stars for specialty drinks. 1 star for the coffee itself.
My opinion is but one in a sea of many, but I feel compelled to share my piece. I came out to this micro-roaster in search of good (well-roasted, fresh, nuanced) coffee, and did not find it here.
I had a mocha cappuccino, which was delicious, but maybe because the sweetness and chocolate drowned out the roast of the espresso beans.
I also had the Ethiopian Guji coffee on drip, and it was not good. Ashy, lifeless, simple, and undistinguished are descriptors that come to mind. I sensed none of the characteristic brightness, fruitiness, or acidity that typically distinguish Ethiopian coffees from the rest.
I know truly good coffee, and this place has some work to do to rise to the caliber of regional sensations like Counter Culture,...
