Bloom — Local services in Newark

Sadly, I am very disappointed with Bloom. I have been a frequent customer throughout the years when needing a gift. However, when I needed to go in with a family member during the only time I had this whole week they were closed. Before leaving, I checked handy dandy google and it told me that they close up at 7. Perfect amount of time to get out of my office on Main Street @ 6:30 and get there before they close. Well, 6:45 rolls around when I parked and as I walked up I noticed it is locked and dark. So I walk away after picking up whom I was planning to shop with and purchase a few items for her and as gifts. We got to the car (after paying to park) frustrated because this was the only time we had to shop all week especially at one of our former favorite places, Bloom. From personal experience, closing at 7 means letting people know at 5 of & locking to the outside AT 7. I use to love this store but I paid 32.00 for necklace and only /barely wore once and the clasp on chain broke when I went back with my receipt that says I can get an exchange the lady there said I was not allowed to , my only option was get same type of chain or buy another chain to replace it although I would get discount on chain I wanted to exchange the necklace for something of the same price because I didn’t want the same thing to happen with the clasp and I couldn’t afford to get new chain right now.so I was really disappointed , she said that it would not be fair to the next customers to buy it because I wore it! But but barely I wore it maybe a few minutes before it broke! So I feel really confused at that statement too!
