I was thrilled to try it out since my coworkers have been raving about this place and excited to have one open in Delaware. I had the opportunity to try it out for lunch today. It left much to be desired. For 3 people, ordered a cheeseburger, two sides of fries (as it seems the menu is al la carte), a cheesesteak, a Coney Island hot dog, 2 milkshakes, a fountain drink, and a ice cream float. It totalled up to about $70 with tip. Quite expensive and not worth the pricepoint. The cheese burger was plain and flat nothing exciting. Waitress didn’t ask about the “free toppings”. Our friend was disappointed as she expected at least a fluffy bun with sesame but had 2 flat buns with a slice of cheese and small flat patty. I ordered the Coney Island hot dog in hopes of trying something different (it’s suppose to have diced onion, mustard, meat sauce as the internet would describe it to be) and it was a small plain hot dog on a bun. No onion or meat sauce, any toppings that make it a Coney Island hot dog is extra. It should just be labeled as a plain hot dog. My fiance orders a cheesteak which was pretty pricey at $12.85. He described that he has had better for way cheaper at Wawa. The spicy fries were just seasoned with some kind of dry rub. They were okay. The milkshakes were the only things that everyone agreed was good but should be a dollar or two cheaper. We collectively agreed that we would not come back for the food, but possibly for milkshakes only.
On another note, I was surprised to find that for a fairly decent location size they offer only two single gendered bathrooms. I found myself in a situation waiting quite a long time for the women’s bathroom and could not wait anymore. I used the men’s single bathroom as it was unoccupied. I had to clean the toilet seat and took about 2 mins. A man seemed miffed that I came out of the bathroom and muttered something in passing. Oh well, I really needed to use the restroom and waited over 10 mins for the women’s bathroom to be unoccupied. If it were unisex, I’m sure I would have been spared of this awkward...

Every dish that came to our table was prepared to perfection - from the juicy, flavorful burgers cooked exactly to order, to the crispy golden fries that were seasoned just right. Read moreI was excited to try this establishment since it announced it would be coming to Delaware. However, I was left disappointed. The host, Kurt, seemed disinterested, however, the waitress was kind but lacked in following up throughout the meal. The lemonade that was ordered was warm and tasted only of tartness. I went up to Kurt who was conversing with two other workers and had to say something before they noticed I was standing there waiting. When I expressed concern about the lemonade, Kurt had a, "It is what it is" attitude and was unhelpful. The lemonade that was ordered was switched out for a water after receiving no help from the staff. The burgers were overly greasy and bland, and the fries were not evenly sprinkled with the seasoning. Upon leaving the restaurant, Kurt did not have the spatial awareness to not sit a family with a new baby, whose carrier was in the aisle, beside the host stand that has a lot of foot traffic and where the baby could easily be hit by someone's bag. I wish the team had paid as much attention to the customers in the place as they did talking with each other at the counter.
I wish my experience was better, but from the moment I walked in, the excitement decreased until I couldn't wait to leave. I hope this will be a learning block for the team so they can become a better version...
