What youâre serving isnât a cappuccino, and I think you should explain that to your customers. After trying to get a cappuccino at your cafĂ©, I realized that what you serve has nothing to do with a real cappuccino. A traditional cappuccino, as we all know, consists of espresso, steamed milk, and a creamy foam layer on top. What I was given lacked that characteristic foam and had a flavor and consistency that didnât resemble a true cappuccino at all.
I think it would be helpful if you clarified in your menu that what youâre offering is a âPortuguese cappuccino,â so customers know what to expect. This way, youâd avoid confusion, especially early in the morning when all people want is to enjoy a delicious coffee to start their day right.
Not only should you improve the quality of your cappuccinos, but also the customer service, which in my case was quite poor. The staffâs attitude was neither friendly nor professional, making the experience even worse.
I hope you take these suggestions into account for improvement, as great coffee and service are essential to getting...
Read moreThe worst coffee experience Iâve ever had. This was, without question, the worst cappuccino Iâve ever had. I understand itâs a Portuguese cafĂ©, but a cappuccino is an internationally recognized beverage. Itâs not about cultural differencesâitâs about knowing how to make a basic coffee drink.
A traditional cappuccino is made with 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk, and 1/3 milk foam. It should never resemble a watery café au lait, and it definitely needs foam. What I was served lacked all the key elements of a proper cappuccino.
When I politely explained to the staff that what I received was not a cappuccino, the employee responded with a poor attitude and no willingness to fix it. She insisted it was a cappuccino, and when I said I didnât want it, she brought me the exact same thing again.
Not only was the drink bad, but the customer service was worse. I wonât be returning. For reference, a proper cappuccino starts with a shot of espresso, followed by a small amount of steamed milk, and topped with a thick layer of foam....

Side note on the large 'bolo de bolacha': As I was driving back to Philadelphia, I had to make a hard brake because of a fast changing traffic light... From 55mph to 0, the cake box flies from the backseat into the back of my seat, and it survived all in one piece! Incredible!, never seen a cake that could withstand something like that. Just had a little indentation on one side.
Update: Ordered 3 cakes that were going to be for the celebration of 3 birthdays. Once again the quality of the cakes was outstanding and they were still fresh after 2 days of being in my fridge (I blocked any air from getting out of the boxes with tape and put them inside big ziplock bags). See pictures of the cakes 2 days, 02Nov2021, after I...
