THEY DO NOT LIKE TO SERVE NON-HISPANICS. 12/11/2021 4:20 ish Lets start this off by saying I am a Jamaican woman. For months I would come to this Spanish restaurant every single day because I Really enjoy their food. I have witnessed how they would treat non Hispanics and it’s absolutely DISGUSTING. First incident I witnessed but I wasn’t there for the full incident so I didn’t really have a full understanding of what took place, however they refused to serve the woman because she didn’t look very pleasant. The second incident they had a new worker and she was responsible for serving me let’s start off by saying she wasn’t happy to serve my food, I ordered stew chicken and Every single part of the chicken she put on my platter was the part with all bones so I had to ask her to please replace a few of them. Lastly today I had my final straw. I went there to get my usual stew chicken. There was another family ahead of me so I waited to be served next. Afterwards a couple came in after me while I was standing there waiting to be served. There is this old man, not sure if he is the owner but he has always been very unpleasant to people who weren’t Hispanics. He came and served the couple that came in after me while I was still standing there without asking who was next. The gentleman looked and he continued anyway while I stood there and around in disbelieve as if I was invisible. They served that couple yes that came in after me. I was so furious at the discrimination. So I asked the lady working there if they do not serve non Hispanics and if there was anyone there that I could speak to that spoke proper English and they said no. No apology nothing whatsoever. It’s so disgusting that we still have to deal with this in America. NEVER AGAIN I’m highly upset because I spent a lot...

Bottom line: they'll overcharge you if you're a non-Latino.

This has happened to me at more Latin restaurants that I have kept track of, so I knew what I was potentially getting into when I came here for the first time. I made sure to check their menu to see what price is listed for the item I was planning on ordering, which was $14. I ordered it and waited nearly 30 minutes for it to be ready (a dish that normally takes no longer than 15 minutes). They weren't even busy, mind you.

Once it was time to pay, the employee tells me that it'll cost $22. Hah. I pointed out the price on the menu and reassured her that I'm being overcharged. I couldn't understand what she said after that, as the entire conversation was in Spanish and I'm not fluent at all, but I can tell that whatever she said probably wasn't a legitimate reason as to why there's a $6 price difference.

Because I waited so long, I decided to pay. They ended up charging me $20 after all of this, only partially scamming me after I called them out.

Overall, if you're Latino I'm sure you'll have a nice experience here, but if you're not then I'd go to one of the many other Dominican restaurants in the area with the hope of not getting scammed...

I called to oder for delivery and I was told 20 mins for delivery, after 40 minutes I get a call from the delivery guy, from the very beginning of the call he was loud and questioning my address. I told him my address again and he said oh well that not what I have here and I’m not going over there to you, so I said I don’t understand, I gave my Address and even spelled it out and my gps says you are only 6 minutes from me and he just hung up on me. When I called back I said excuse me why did you hang up on me she shouted and said what do you mean why?! Because I’m not gonna stay on the phone with you cause I’m not going over there and the cops are here so I said sit you dl t have to be this rude I’m a client and he just hung up on me again. I then called the restaurant to explain and the women who initially took my order said oh I don’t well let me see if someone will take the order for you.
