Ziggi's Coffee — Restaurant in Newcastle

(updated review below) First experience 3.5/5. Definitely felt like a typical chain restaurant. Never been to a Ziggi’s and ordered a large and got a 32oz fount drink size cup. Was expecting more like a typical coffee shop size of 20-26oz cups. I do like it wasn’t full of ice like DB, DD, Scooters or even SB. Flavors were decent not too sweet and coffee not too bitter. I did not like the ipad being handed to me for sig/tip after everyone else has touched it at the drive thru. That was a no no! Ill come back to try a smaller hot coffee in a few days and go from there. Haven’t tried their food so cant comment yet. Price was noticeably higher than any other coffee shop around which was another surprise. Will try again for sure tho!

This morning (1/15/22) ordered a hot coffee and was surprised! Tasted just like a small town coffee shop. Not too hot not too bitter or sweet. i was itching for a good coffee without having to drive to norman or moore and found ziggys in newcastle and i hate drive thrus it’s so stressful for me but i had my cat with me and couldn’t go inside and they gave me recommendations thru the drive thru and we’re extremely sweet and helpful and gave me a pocket menu and qr code for the app and the girls all came to the window to greet my cat and threw in a little kitty cup for her. it was truly an amazing experience and definitely won me over from starbucks or scooters coffee. highly recommend this place and have been telling...

Just a drive thru so not much atmosphere though the workers are nice and cheery but not annoyingly so like "some coffee chains". Coffee is great. The campfire something drink is great. Cold almond foam. Yum. Spicy sausage burrito is great. Service is great. Once I let my car run out of gas in the drive through smh. Jennifer and two other crew members helped push my car to a parking spot and she gave me a ride to buy gas and humored me while we tried to figure out the gas can nozzle.
