Donna, the owner, is an angel. The times I have gone in were last-minute, hair-on-fire moments. And each time, she's always smooth, calm & collected. Super-pleasant and always eager to please. She's the best!

Recently, I called in the morning for my 11 year old's birthday gluten-free cupcake and then I forgot and the hours had already passed for them to be open, but Donna was still there and gladly opened the door and sold me the cupcake I needed. If that's not the epitome of customer service, I don't know what is. She cares and is always ready to help.

As for the quality of the cupcakes, they are Simply Delicious and moist and overflowing with flavor and creativity. I bought some for some teachers at my child's school and they absolutely love them and everyone I know Raves about her and her service and the quality of her cupcakes.

Whether it's in a pinch or if you're planning a big gathering, I know where I'm going to go......

I usually order my cakes from a grocery store bakery but I figured because the upcoming party was for a birthday/going away party I decided to order from a "professional" bakery....the marble cake tasted alright but when I picked up the cake after ordering a week in advance I opened it and it was atrocious...it looked like a 5 year old did the trimming, I didn't expect cake boss style but I expected better with the decorations....I took it to stop and shop and the cake decorator transformed the cake in under 2 minutes just by covering the existing trim and adding balloons. I gave the kakery instructions on how I wanted it and told them to please make it look nice.......I should have known better....I could have paid half the price elsewhere for a better looking and probably better...

My family use The Kakery as our go to local bakery. It may not be "Instagram worthy" but the decorations are still beautiful, and more importantly the flavor is prime. We've had peanut butter cake, traditional vanilla/chocolate birthday cakes, cupcakes in a variety of flavors, a gender reveal cake, and so much more over the years and we have never been disappointed. Their red velvet cupcakes got rave reviews from friends that usually don't even like red velvet. And the owners are so kind, professional and efficient.
