I visited a couple days ago during dinner time. The menu is simple yet awesome, with authentic Mexican flavors (I loved the carnitas in particular). The salsa bar is equally excellent. My group didn't have any drinks, but I saw they have those serve-your-own beer taps, as well as Golden Road's Spiked Agua Frescas behind the counter. Those are awesome for the non-beer drinker. The place was filled with young adults having a great time. I'll keep this place in mind if I'm down here again with friends!
To the staff: our food came out fast, the place was clean and inviting, and staff was very friendly. The food looked and tasted great, and for a good price. You guys are doing an outstanding job here. One thing though, is you need to order larger water cups. Those itty bitty cups suck, they're like tiny Dixie cups with only one sip. Also, one of your employees, a blonde woman, was wearing a very strong perfume that really bothered me any time she passed by. She was great in every other way, just please don't wear a perfume when you're working with food! It's much stronger than...
Read moreI brought some friends to Chihuahua Cerveza last night and was given the royal treatment. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the food and the beer. I tried the jackfruit taco and it was definitely an awesome vegetarian option. My friends got the carne asada nachos. For the price, she expected it to be a small portion. However, it came out on a big tray and was piled high with cheese and meat.
There is a "pour your own beer wall" with six different types of beer. All went very well with the tacos. We tried the Michihuahua(A Michelada made with their Chihuahua Cerveza Limon) and it was one of the best Michelada's I've ever had. There were staff members by the taps on the wall to help us with the pouring as well as inform us of the differences between each of the styles of beer. Very friendly and informative.
Overall I am excited to go back and enjoy some more tacos and beer on the patio at...
Read moreBeen here about 10 times now, discovered it one day in Newport for my first Mother’s Day, they were giving moms free churros and it was such a pleasant experience we’ve been making the 30 min drive to come back ever since. Always a pleasant experience, service is always friendly and quick, the atmosphere is fun with an 2 inside areas and 2 outside areas andthe food is great (we mostly always get steak Chilaquiles and their steak breakfast burrito). This is a great place for toddlers/kids we love sitting on the patio area with grass and tv, we’re happy and our kiddos are happy. The food is always reliably tasty well cooked meat and free chips and salsa (lots of salsa choices and all good). I’ve even come here with my girlfriend for a mom’s day out. Highly recommend such a pleasant experience and ideal spot for watching sporting events or just to feel comfortable eating out...
