Came here for golden hour specials, only to realize that it was Sunday not Monday (vacation brain, anyone?) lol. Luckily, our waitress was very nice, and my sister and I ended up ordering some other delicious things that I didn't mind paying full price for in the slightest.

For me, it was a red snapper and shrimp taco plate with a side Baja salad. She got a small Baja salad with al pastor. While waiting (as this is a sit-down place with a bar), we both commented on how cute and well-decorated the restaurant is. Love the tile on the walls, and the beachy theme is tastefully done. Food came out perfect, and I even found myself loving their al pastor I tried as it wasn't overly sweet with a great kick of smoky flavor. The homemade corn tortillas were also a huge bonus!

To end the experience, I again want to commend our waitress who was incredibly welcoming and genuine the whole time. Good service like that needs a shout-out.

My tips: get the al pastor and red snapper fish taco (if the snapper is available, based on what's fresh). If you're doing takeout, get some side salsas/sauce or have hot sauce nearby if you like an extra punch of heat. It...

Came here for happy hour, nice vibe, music choice was a bit strange for the type of restaurant. The girlfriend and I arrived about 5 minutes before happy hour started and when greeted and asked if we were waiting for happy hour and we responded yes, the waitress walked away and scoffed as if we weren’t worth her time. We ordered a beer and food and I had to ask again for the beer roughly 7 minutes after we ordered (a bottled beer which should take no time at all). The food was great! I recommend the taquitos and elote! The only reason for 3 stars was because the waitress was extremely condescending to both my girlfriend and I while she was maybe 17 years old. The seemingly more experienced servers saved the day after picking up after the young servers. Word of advice for the staff, please serve the customers before eating in front of them. I try to give a lot of grace to restaurants as I work in the industry myself and with COVID things have been hard, but this was one of the not so good experiences...

Poor management skills by general manager Olivia at the Newport Location. After being hung up on twice by the employees, I was transferred to Olivia. I needed to cancel my order I placed only to be told "they can't do anything on their end". I was told to utilize the app to cancel my order when I asked for a phone number or help to navigate how to cancel, I was simply told "I don't really know, I can't help you". Instead of being offered some type of solution I was simply just told "there's nothing I can do." Not a offer of anything but rude and helpless attitudes by the employees I will not be ordering from either Newport or Laguna Beach location simply because of one person and poor customer service. Starts at the top. I have not eaten at Wild Taco was excited to support a local business and have my family try something different. I'll be going elsewhere thank...

Solid taco joint. I want to give it more than four stars, but it's not quite a five. Not yet. It's 4.4 right now, but I'm totally going to go back, and I'm sure they will continue to deliver the goods, getting the place to a 4.6/4.7 and warranting a revised rating, rounded to a five. Menu contains more than tacos. On the taco front, there's a good variety, and they sport a fresh catch fish special. Some relatively unique tacos too, like the Potato & Black Bean. Sizes are adequate and meet expectation with the price. You have the option of ala carte or as a platter with rice and beans/salad. Selection of beers is good, and there are non-alcoholic choices as well. Outdoor seating, at the bar, or tables inside - you've got options. Parking nearby, especially if you're willing to walk a block or two. Visit. I think you'll like it.

My friend Nick and I stopped there for a late lunch. We were greeted with a big smile from our waitress. We sat at a table inside and they have outside dining as well. We ordered chips, guacamole, and salsa to start. It was happy hour, so I had a watermelon margarita Nick had a hazy IPA. We then ordered street tacos. The Carnitas tacos were small, but they were very good. Street tacos are always small. Our waitress was friendly, very knowledgeable and also cute. I left a 20% tip because we had a great lunch and the waitress did a good job. When you get good food and fantastic service don’t forget to leave a good tip! I would highly recommend Wild Taco.

Wild Taco, give me all the tacos, all the flavors, and every margarita on the menu. This place never disappoints. Each visit feels like a celebration, from the first bite to the last sip. The tacos are bold and full of personality, the kind that remind you how fun food can be when it is done right. The margaritas are fresh, bright, and dangerously easy to love. The vibe matches the food, lively without being overdone, casual but with just enough edge to make it feel special. Every time I am in town, Wild Taco is on the list, a place that guarantees great flavors, great energy, and a craving for the next visit before you even leave.
