We love ice cream, so we went to this place as it looked nice and had a variety or flavors. We were behind a father and his young daughter who ordered a double scoop and the young server gave them the ice cream in a "pint cup". (she offered to do it) When it was our turn, both my girlfriend and I picked our flavors (2 for each) and the server asked us if we wanted cone or cup, so we said one cone and one cup; then she asked if we wanted a waffle or a cake cone and I said "regular cone" and she answered the cake cone is too small for the 2 scoops, so I asked her if we could have it in a pint cup, but she said she wasn't supposed to give us that cup and her attitude and demeanor were not friendly at all. I told her if she did it for the previous client, why she didn't want to do it for us and eventually she gave us our ice creams, but it was easy to tell she wasn't very pleased about this. Read moreThe selection of desserts here was to die for, and the customer service was top notch. The chocolate dipped Balboa bar and frozen banana were both delicious. The chocolate was just the right thickness: thick enough to add a lot of chocolatey goodness without being so thick it was hard to crunch through. I got toasted coconut on my bar and it added a lot of flavor. My caramel macchiato was also great for a place that specializes more in desserts, and my wife was happy with her affogato sundae. We're not in Newport Beach often, but the next time we are I'm sure we'll be back to Cowafornia to give some other menu...
