Jerry's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Newport Beach

I've been here plenty of times and have already written a review on Yelp. When I saw that Jerry's only had 1 review on Google+, I had to step in and help here too!

This is a great lunch place for a quick and easy sandwich that tastes homemade. Don't expect some crazy or elaborate sandwiches like you'd find at some Hooters or other crappy restaurant. Instead, you'll get some fresh ingredients and a whole lot of them (if you get all the veggies). It's also a bit of a hole-in-the-wall so don't expect fancy schmancy decor or employees wearing some annoying flair.

My personal favorite here is asking for the vegetarian sandwich on sourdough and adding turkey. Sure, it's pretty much a turkey / avocado with all the veggies, but they've missed the sprouts before, so to be safe I just ask for what I see in the picture.

Big sandwiches, fresh ingredients, and decently priced ($5-6). Definitely worth...

I came into here one morning after my work interview at ACI, and one of the pilots let me know of this place since i said i was hungry after my interview, i walked over and it genuinely was like stepping into a time machine, the prices are SO amazing im talking about 8-10 dollers for a sandwich chips and arizona included! the owners are so lovely it run by a older married couple and if you're getting done with a flight or hell even if you're hungry and have time to get a sandwich, COME HERE!, had the best convo and personable experience ever! thank you for feeding me! Modestly priced and everything is made with all fresh ingredients. The smoothies are absolutely the best but the sandwiches are definitely right up there too. My wife and I found it totally by accident. It's a hidden little gem nestled under a staircase on the corner of Quail and Campus (right across the street from the John Wayne Airport) but well worth the visit!! Free parking too, almost unheard of in the more affluent areas of Southern California!! Five HUGE stars!! Highly...
