P.F. Chang's — Restaurant in Newport Beach

I love the all-day, everyday Happy Hour as the prices are great and so are the food options this would've been 5 stars, but the service was not great. The Bartender was not good at timing who she went to and was not aware of repeat serving others while we waited a long time to ask for water and were out of cocktails for about 15 minutes. What was worse was the management- I went to the bathroom and both stalls in the ladies' room were out of toilet paper. The hostess was taking a take-out order and she had a line so I went to the manager who was NOT busy. She proceeded to say how she was going to let the hostess know because it was her job. Okay, so the manager (they don't wear name tags- female straight blonde hair shoulder length) not only passed the buck to share how it was someone else's job, it wasn't professional on any level. This was impacted by how it was obvious that the person she was defaulting to was very busy. I saw someone else go into the ladies' room and I brought her tissues and then went to the manager again about the toilet paper while she was strolling around and she said "I will get someone on it". I wanted to say: YOU DO IT ALREADY! We left to use the bathroom elsewhere and very disappointed at the service and the caliber of leadership- true leaders are willing to do what...

I was visiting my sister in Orange County and we were both craving good Chinese...so of course PF Changs was on the list. I ended up with a waitress named BreAnna as my server. She was amazing and, truly, was mostly responsible for the great experience my sister and I had there. Mel contributed to the rest of our experience by simply being accommodating when my sister annoyingly asked her to wait on us even though we weren't her responsibility. Not only was she gracious, but she was also kind enough to tell me my apologies for my sister were unnecessary, haha. And to top it all off, the meal ended with a visit from the restaurant's manager, Coryn. I initially thought she was just another super friendly patron until I realized she was demanding that BreAnna and Mel made sure we enjoyed our time, but they didn't need much prodding anyway. Coryn was incredibly personable and I even forgot that she was there to work. I may have met my new best friend on the west coast...but the drinks served by Zach and Cougan make them a really close second. We dined at PF Changs in Fashion Island today for our Anniversary. We made a 11:15 reservation. When we arrived we were greeted by the manager,Lisa who was so nice and recognized us by name and said Happy Anniversary. We requested a window table which she accommodated us with that had a great view. There was a Happy Anniversary Card on our table with a card for a free appetizer on our next visit. Lisa asked if we had any questions on the menu and recommended a few favorites. She later came by our table to check on us and again wished us a Happy Anniversary. Lisa was great.

Our server was Josie. She provided us excellent service. She was attentive, knowledgeable, warm, and friendly. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, northern ribs then the lunch special. All the food was so delicious. The ribs were so tender and fall off the bone. Josie told us we would receive a dessert for our anniversary which we appreciated. We were so full that we took it home.
