Krystal — Restaurant in Newport

I didn’t grab names but the manager and lady taking orders on 1-03-25 at 12 pm was extremely rude. I’m on lunch break for work with a coworker and as we’re ordering I’m in the passenger seat ordering my food from my side. The lady taking orders was unnecessarily rude telling me “you don’t have to scream I can you hear you perfectly fine.” When I tried to address the fact that I was ordering from the passenger side and wasn’t sure if I was being loud enough for her to hear over the speaker she cut me off. I didn’t end up ordering because this rubbed me the wrong way. When we got to the window and I asked for her manager she said she didn’t find her being rude or anything. Her tone her words and attitude wasn’t it. I tried to re-explain myself and how I thought they need to think of the people buying from their store could have hearing disabilities or any disabilities in general and they said “ok” and shut the window. When I worked in fast food the customer was always right and you never talked to them like that. There were many ways she could’ve handled that situation and they didn’t. Therefore I will NOT go back to this Krystal’s which sucks as it’s close to my job but I will not be talked to and rudely brushed off when trying to explain how I was just trying to keep make their job easier by making sure they can hear my order. 0/10 experience. Couldn’t pay me to interact with these...

Ordered the tiny CB's for myself and my young granddaughter. The meat was gray mush. And light gray at that. And I mean MUSH! It smears between your fingers. I had to throw it out, so unnatural looking, just gross. I don't know what kind of meat that is, but it didn't look like any beef I've ever had. But first, the sign on the speaker box said order on the app and get BOGO. So I download the app, start an account, order the food, then pay, and realize there was no offer for BOGO, or ANY DEAL for that matter. I let the cashier at the drive through know that my whole intention for backing out, and ordering on the app instead, was for the BOGO, and after all that, no offer existed. He (kindly) said, 'Unfortunately, anything to do with the app has to be taken up with corporate- we have nothing to do with that here.' I think offers and signs should be kept up to date. All in all, that stop was a waste of time, I won't return for LIGHT GREY mush burgers. Ew. Also, the sweet tea was so diluted, it barely had any color at all, and tasted like sugar water. I threw that out also, and I am not one to ever waste food or drink, or to complain, or leave a bad review. (This is the first) But this was over the top bad, if you care at all about what you put into your body, I would not suggest eating...

Giving a 1 star for attention. I go here very often for breakfast and have nothing but great experiences. The day shift ladies absolutely rock! However I usually avoid this place like the plague at night. I needed to stop and grab something real quick though and this was the closest place. I asked what was in their junk yard fries she told me as of now cheese and ranch cause they are out of jalapeños. I said ok I will take the chili cheese fries instead….. she responded with what size I told her a size… I get to the window and get regular fries I didn’t realize until I pulled off. I turned got back in line and had to wait while they was cleaning before I could get service. Yeah ok thanks for cleaning that’s a bonus… sure enough when I told her it was supposed to be chili cheese fries she responded with I repeat it back. Then very rudely said let me go get you some chili cheese fries. She was so smart and rude and then when I told her just to keep them I would talk to someone tomorrow she told me her manager was there and could hear everything… so why was it such a burden for them to simply do their job? I mean I didn’t pull up...
