The first thing you will notice is the excellent staff. You won't find a restaurant anywhere, run by better people. I am not a big fan of Italian food--it's just not my thing. My Dad is the Italian food lover and he is why we first came. What brought me back and made me a repeat customer are the people that work here. They are so nice and relaxing to be around. So much so that I'm coming around to enjoying Italian food.
Don't let my personal taste make you think the food is only so-so. It's not. Their breadsticks, fresh out of the oven and right to your table, are delicious and warm and comforting, like a happy, yeasty hug. The Alfredo noodles sing with richness (and are on my no-no, I will eat them all and weep the next day, list--convince a friend to take the hit so you can try them in safety). My current favorite is their enormous Stromboli. If you can never get enough garlic in your life, they will add fresh garlic. Just make sure your dinner companion also loves garlic. You will walk in a happy cloud of potency, all the way home.
The food is reasonably priced. I'd call it downright cheap, because I usually get 2 more meals from my doggie box.
Speaking of, the portions are huge! This is a great place to bring that one friend (we all have one) that can really pack in the food.
I don't have any negatives to share. The place is always spotless, from the tables and the floor to the dishes and silverware. I've seen lots of young children eat here, so there must be invisible house elves at work. They deserve a raise, bless them. The only suggestion I can think of--replace the Pepsi fountain with a Coca-Cola one, lol. Coke Zero tastes so much better than Diet Pepsi. But that's a personal thing. Bottled Coke products are available, but there's something about Italian food that requires refills.
When you visit, make sure you take care of the staff with good tips. This is a local favorite and we want them to be here forever. Plus, seriously, these people are the best servers I have ever come across. I would hang out here just for the happiness and smells.. and the breadsticks.. hmm, maybe I really do...

We did carry out pizza... it is worth getting. Better than the Papa John's or Little Ceasars options in town for sure....
..it was hot, toppings were generous... and the the crust was great, almost pretzel like in consistency. Picky kids all said the sauce was sweet. I didn't notice, but it's probably so. Still good.
Cheezy bread is good... A large cheesy bread is the size of a whole pizza.
Mozzarella sticks were thick, maybe need a thicker breading to compensate. They were ok.
Service...
Called ahead... greeting was a simple "hello"... as a first timer, it'd be nice to at least know i called the right place. I dont need "hi this is employee, thanks for calling business how may i help you..." but if you're gonna go with "hello" maybe consider "Milano's" instead.... anyhow...phone call was efficient.
I ordered 6 pizzas and some sides on a Friday night. Had to wait a bit longer once I showed up, but I expected as much on a friday with the size of my order...
...but it gave me the chance to stand around and watch for a while...
Dinner rush, incoming large party, drive through, walk ins, phones... saw 3 staff. Working HARD... They were efficient, friendly with every guest (old, needy, mask or no mask). Food coming to tables looked good ( Alfredo looked good, and I should've got a calzone... that crust tho)...
after being handed my stack of boxes I realized I'd need marinara and asked. Was quickly given a bag with plenty extra at no charge. Got home and unpacked to find they given me several marinara already inside the boxes and my request was unnecessary. Little Ceasars charges per cup. Just sayin.
Long review i know, but I'm glad I took a chance on the local guy...
Read moreI have no idea how anyone could eat here. The food isn't good and ridiculously overpriced. I would rather put ketchup on bread and eat that. The staff are lazy and rude. And the owner is smug. You want to save money? Microwave a pizza and leave it out for a few hours for the Milanos experience. Update: So, i guess my review really hurt that owners feelings. Lol. I saw him post about me multiple times now. And my user name is on his sign outside.I think attacking someone for speaking negative about your business is alittle insecure and overall sad. He needed validation so bad he put me out on display to be attacked for voicing my opinion. I hope one day he learns from this and takes criticism alittle better. Sad. Also, on top of being a man child he lied. I never showed up. I would never eat that trash again. And for all the people supporting him and attacking me. I hope you learn, that not everyone has to like what you like. Most of you need to grow up alittle. Also, you dont need to keep bringing me up to get business. You should try making food that doesn't suck. I herd that works for restaurants. But, i just wanted to say i have never made someone this upset in my life and its the funniest thing I've ever seen....
