We saw the ad for the Easter buffet and decided to try this place instead of one in Youngstown. We had a noon reservation, arrived at noon, we were seated promptly. We had salads first and then headed to the hot foods table. We chose our foods and sat down to eat. Every single thing was cold, the ham, mashed potatoes, (there was no gravy), the sweet potatoes, the chicken paprikash, and the containers for the rolls were empty .The only thing that was slightly warm were the pierogis. Our waitress was nice and asked how we were doing and we told her all the food was cold. We literally threw away 2 full plates of food. She said she'd tell someone. About 12:40 we decided to go back up to try different food and see if it was hot. Now there was gravy and rolls. We tried the pasta and beef. We took more pierogis, but now there was no sour cream. Clearly, this place was not ready to serve at noon. They should never have taken reservations for noon. Maybe 12:30 would have been better, giving workers more time to make sure the food was actually hot and completely set up for guests. Seeing as how this is normally a buffet restaurant you would think this would have gone better. All in all, this ruined our Easter. It was just my husband and me, we were visiting from AZ, and this was supposed to be the highlight of our day. Lesson learned. We will never come back here again. We wish we would have gone to Rachel's or the Maronite Center in Youngstown. Oh, and when we got our check, the waitress didn't charge us the senior price so we had to get that fixed. Maybe giving seniors a colored ticket to place on their table would help indicate senior customers to avoid any embarrassment for the waitress...
Read moreMy daughter and I went here tonight for her birthday. We've tried the food before but have never been inside. Let me just start by saying that the atmosphere was amazing. It feels very cozy and comfortable. It was also impressively clean and also felt like we were somewhere high end and a little fancy. Like you could dress up or down and still feel like you fit in. The service was amazing. Leann was our server and she was just so nice and accommodating. It was very busy, but she still managed to be amazing to us and everyone she served. And the food was SPECTACULAR. My daughter got angel hair spaghetti and I got the chicken Tosca and I have never seen my daughter eat so much or so fast than she did that spaghetti lol. And I was a bit upset that I got full when I did because the taste of the chicken Tosca was SO GOOD. We are definitely excited to dig into our leftovers tomorrow! And that's another thing, we got a good amount of food for a good price. You could go here for a date night, family night, group get together or just a stop in and be satisfied. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and made for a...
Read moreWe went there for Easter dinner buffet, our reservations, we're at 3 PM. The buffet went till 4.pm. When we got there, the salad bar was almost completely empty. A few pieces of lettuce at best. The food was almost drained down to empty. There was only two items that I noticed they brought out fresh.Everything else looked like it had been sitting there. And the dessert table served jello and cookies store bought hard cookies. We sat at tables that had no linen on them. Just wooden tables, the silverware was not wrapped. It was just served, everybody was grabbing it out of a container, and the pop that was served was flat. My guess is it was out of a two liter that was left open all day. This dinner cost us $29 a person, and it was really bad food. They should have done better. This is easter, it is a holiday meal, and if you have reservations going till four o'clock, you should have everything stocked. Nobody should serve jello, for $29 a person. The whole experience is very disappointing. Had it not been easter, we should have probably just left and went...
