CUSTOMERS BEWARE: I traveled all the way from Schenectady NY to Boston MA with hopes to enjoy NYE. I decided to take my gf to Bertuccis because i've eaten there many times before and my gf never even heard of Bertuccis before so i wanted her to try it. HUGE MISTAKE!! And i mean, this was the mother of all regret. I took her to the newton location and we ordered our meals, had absolutely horrendous service from the get-go. They were not busy at all (and now i think i know why) there was no excuse for the service to be horrible for starters. Second, we kept getting stared at by another employee in the restaurant which made our experience very uncomfortable. So we get to ordering, my gf's meal was the chicken piccata and was also recommended by our horrible waitress who hardly visit our table and left us thirsty basically our entire meal because she wouldnt come to the table to ask if we needed anything, how our food was, nothing... it was so bad that eventually we just felt like we were eating in a cafeteria. And heres the biggest issue, my gf's meal was not even fully cooked, the center of the chicken was cold and i immediately told her to stop eating it and i then couldnt eat my meal because im not going to be disrespectful. So we wait and wait for our "waitress" to come back and ask us how our under cooked food was, took her forever, eventually my meal was cold and worthless. The manager or whoever was on duty brought my gf a measly cannoli for the trouble, never offered to refund our meal for all the trouble. Even our mixed drinks were terrible.. flat soda, no alcohol. Not worth $12 or $13 each, So eventually we leave.. and i was going to let this all go until hours later at our hotel my gf became very sick and was throwing up, couldnt stay out of the bathroom. Was up all night and we missed NYE completely because the following day we had to catch up on sleep. So i called to mention this to the manager on duty whos name was Francisco and asked for a refund. He took down all my info and said give it 7-10 business days. I gave more than 10days.. no refund showed on my end. So i called today to check up as he told me to if i dont see the refund and i get the other manager on duty who i believe his name was Will? He refused to tell me his name after he yelled at me and hung up. I'VE NEVER DEALT WITH SOMEONE SO UNPROFESSIONAL IN MY LIFE. I kept calling to find out why i was hung up on and then all the employees started hanging up on me. I've never ever been treated so horribly. Now i will never come back to Bertuccis. No wonder all the locations are closing.. perfect example. Spend your money anywhere else because this place is basically a...

Read moreI’m not one to ever complain but I am beyond dissatisfied and will never get food from here again. Nor will I ever recommend it. I would have rather taken the $75 + tip I spent on this meal and just thrown it away.
To start - We had just got settled in our hotel after 8 hours of traveling and just wanted a nice good Italian dinner. This restaurant was highly rated and I honestly don’t know how.
We ordered 2 side insalata with our meals but we got caeser salads instead. Not only did we get the wrong salads but we also didn’t get any dressing. Who wants to eat a dry salad? Might as well have just sent a head of lettuce. We were supposed to get the mozzarella fritta but we got 4 fried hollow things with bland marinara sauce. I’m guessing that was their attempt at mozzarella sticks yet there was no cheese inside?! The bread was ok but didn’t come with any butter. Also, that was by far the worst Alfredo I have ever tasted in my life. I wouldn’t even call it Alfredo. It tasted like noodles that sat in a strainer too long that were then thrown in a to go container with a flavorless white jarred or bagged sauce and boiled chicken. It had ZERO flavor. I couldn’t even eat it… Seriously. A $20+ entree that went into the trash. (My boyfriend will literally eat anything and even he couldn’t eat it.) To add a cherry on top.. we didn’t even get any utensils. Apparently we were supposed to eat all of this with our hands?! (We had to go to the front desk of our hotel to get utensils.)
The only thing we enjoyed were the 2 pieces of cake.. which to be honest.. they were probably pre- made and just needed to be thawed. IF they did make the cakes then they should quit the restaurant business and...
