Geppeto's Pizza — Restaurant in Newton

NEWTON NC RESTAURANT....Had been ordering from geppetos pretty regularly until 4/18/19 we had a call in order that totaled 43.00 for 2 people, we picked our order up at 8.58 PM they close at 9pm ,after getting our food home we were amazed to find hair in our food not in one dinner but in several dishes. Considering that most places dont answer the phone after closing I waited till the next day to call about this problem the first manager told me that since I didn't call after they were closed they couldn't do anything about it well I requested another manager, he basically stated that I was lying concerning the hair he then claimed to give me a credit on my next order (wow) . After been told I was lying why would I go there again ? That's almost 50$ we paid for food that we threw away I didn't order hair. An after being treated so rudely, I will never spend another dollar there so since they were so rude I will be reporting this to the health department . Please teach your staff and management how to treat your customers correctly after all the customers are what keeps your business running. 50$ for a meal for 2 people may not be much for some but for us it was supposed to be a treat to us after a long hard week of working, in my opinion they should have given us our money back and at least offered a complimentary meal after all its was someone's else's hair we got that we didn't order, they dont wear hair nets which would certainly help to keep the food hair free, I'm ashamed of you geppetos you need to do better by your customers and your food cleanliness,,I am very angry about this and it should be rectified. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HAIRY FOOD AND YOUR RUDENESS IWONT BE BACK BUYERS...

This restaurant is great and the food is good but a few things could be better. The pasta salad and macaroni salad is very blan and very dry! Not enough seasoning or moisture at all! The online menu does not inform you of different sizes of some dishes like the chicken salad plate... it says that plate is $7.99 but when I called in my order I was asked what size I wanted. The price quoted on the online menu is for the small size but the small size was a gracious serving! So far, the food has been very good and the people that work there are very pleasant and thorough and the delivery people are very nice! The only real problem is the pasta flavor and dryness! If that could be fixed this restaurant would be perfect!* UPDATE* We took our grandson to eat here tonight(3-16-19)... the server Allison even though see is young proved to be an excellent waitress!!! I ordered a sub and the salad bar for myself and the salad that I made for myself was so good that I had to bring my sub home cause I couldn't eat it all! My grandsons pizza was so good that he over ate and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his sub & fries!!! I havent had that pleasant experience in I cant tell how long!!!...

I didn't want to submit this review but how do we all expect to become better citizens if we don't address the small issues that could actually lead to bigger problems.

Everytime I order from this particular Geppetto's, my order is never accurate and it's so annoying because not only do the Geppetto's employee read back to me the exact order bit it's also printed on the receipt.

This order consist of a pepperoni and ham calzone, a small thin crust cheese pizza and a simple salad with French dressing.

I open the salad to eat and there's ranch dressing instead of french dressing.

On a prior order, I asked for a spicy chicken dish and again I received plain fried chicken (no spice, no sauce).

The only reason I didn't return this order for a correction was because there was a man in front of me who's order was also wrong and I didn't want to prolong my time there but I did manage to ask for another coin (a quarter) after the Geppetto's worker provided my change and placed in my hand a quarter filled with green corrosion.

I will not be eating here anymore but Geppetto's please do better. They were both pick up orders and very inconvenient at
