Novel Taproom — Restaurant in Newton

I came here to meet a guy for the first time & I was concerned & a little nervous to do so. I mentioned it to the bartenders working, and they went above & beyond, even going so far as giving me one of their cellphone numbers, to make sure I felt safe and comfortable, promising me if I didn’t they would surely handle it. Not only is this just an all around wonderful place to grab a drink & chill, the bartenders are top notch & go above and beyond to make sure their patrons feel safe. Thank you to each & every one of you. I cannot recommend this place enough. You should be extremely proud of your staff & establishment. Other places could definitely learn a thing or two from the ladies you have holding down the bar ♥️ 10/10 would recommend this...

Been coming here since they opened and I loved this bar and the atmosphere. I was coming 3-4 days a week bringing friends and spending money. Bartenders there have always been wonderful but the owners of this establishment have been rude to me and the company I bring on more than one occasion. More recently this past year the two owners have made me feel quite uncomfortable being at their bar with the way they have talked to me. Wow! What a great venue — right here in Newton! Because I’m not a beer drinker, I hadn’t found my way in here before tonight, but when I found out that there was a Bunco night, I saw this as a great opportunity to meet other ladies in my new hometown. And guess what? They don’t just have beer. The peach cider was delicious — like pie in a glass. Wine was also available. I loved the atmosphere exposed brick, well lit.
