IL Bambini NY Style Pizza — Restaurant in Newton

We Gps to this place got there did not see a sign that has his name on it was still the Previous restaurant name. It’s very unprofessional I though He would of done that first before he open up the place. We walked inside the place saw the pizza display at the counter wide open noting covering the pizza and he even touch the slice of pizza with his hand after giving other customer money back from the register after checking them out. I give the owner Dimas another chance again but was very disappointed again it’s the same thing he does when he was located in Hickory keeping left over pizza and reselling the next day 1-4 days. That’s why stop going when he was located in Hickory I had bought some slice that was at least 2-3 days old in the past not only I know but some other customer and friends notice it too so we all stop going there when we found out from one of the worker that use to work for him a while back. I heard from the guy that use to work with him saying that he suppose to dispose topping that is kept in fridge after 7 days but he still kept it wash them and use expire stuff. One of the things is spaghetti noodle I heard it started to mold already he will wash it and use it when it’s rush hours too busy to make new one that is very nasty he show me picture/video of it. He also lie to some of us that he was Italian but he is Hispanic. People keep saying he is a very nice guy but the truth is that he use his belief in God to show but it’s total wrong doing that and God see the truth of who’s lying. His last location In hickory not many people liked him that’s why he must of move to Newton where some people don’t know him yet. I do not recommend this place My dad order us some stuff we were disappointment. We use to get slice of pizza here all the time when Dimas was in Hickory. The pizza was good until one day I came early before he was open I looked inside he was taking pizza and other stuff that he got display out there from the fridge and bring them to the front. Also saw him reheat some of them in the oven too so I waited around 15min when he open. When I came inside look at the slice of pizza he got display you can see that it just came out of the fridge from the night before. The cheese looked cold and some of the other one had new cheese sprinkle on top of the old one so I’m thinking he is trying to cover up those 2-4 days old pizza with cheese, topping and reselling those pizza he dosent sell from the night before and couples days. I act like I didn’t see him do it before he was open so I ask why does those pizza look different he say it’s noting wrong and he change the conversation talking about Jesus and bible Verse. I been going there for a while and always see those pizza that doesn’t look right util that day I did never return back it’s very wrong selling couples days old pizza to us customer got me thinking of he dose that he might be using expire stuff to make pizza too. There are some people that I know they stop going there because they see what I see. I wouldn't ever come back here. The pizza and pinwheel were lacking so much flavor. The pinwheel bread was just that, bread. The bread wasn't buttery or garlicky, and the marinara was like tomato sauce with water. It was so watered down and bland. Marinara should be thicker and have seasonings of garlic and oregano at least. The pizza was just as bland. It wasn't cooked to a hot enough temperature, so it doesn't retain its heat long. To top all of this off... The total was 12$, and he said hold on and punched the price into the CC machine. Then I saw him hit the tip button, and the price changed to 13$, but he didn't say anything. He'll definitely get a bad Google review. It's the least I can do considering he is scamming people but has the nerve to have a sign that says for unto us a child is born. Merry Christmas and happy new year.
