This little gem is soon to become the newest hot spot. First observations in the door is the cleanliness. Set as a fast food grab and go it felt more like a place I wanted to stay a while. Everything was very clean and shiny. With a view straight past the counter you can tell the owner values his food and customers. The kitchen equipment was as shiny as new. The dining area was well dressed and organized. The staff was very friendly and didn't mind addressing questions. After a look through of the menu I asked for a recommendation. This brings me to the food. Three Al Pastor tacos. I will judge any place on the initial tacos. Something if you do well is great. If you do bad it's horrible. I was far from disappointed. The tortillas were fresh hot and had the crispy edges that I loved. Topped with fresh onion and cilantro. The meat was like tender little jewels bursting with flavor. Easily recognizing the time and effort taken to insure the proper seasoning and care. This place is like if you had home made fast food. I will certainly return. I can't wait to try the rest...
Read moreCool little spot that took over an old subway building to serve Mexican fast food.
They have a pickup/drive through window, which I like.
Met the owner and had about a 5minute conversation with him at the drivethru window and the man is a real humble and down to earth guy who is passionate about his product.
Now to the food, it was great. The tacos were huge. Very big tacos. 2 will easily fill you up if you're not that hungry. 3 tacos and you'd be stuffed even if your hungry.
The tortillas on the tacos were moist, Which I appreciated. I've been to spots where the tortillas are somewhat dry and etc by the time you get home and even times when you dine in.
The burrito is also huge. Very good value for the price. One of the few brick and mortar places in town where you can get a handheld burrito.
To sum it, go support this restaurant. It's great and I will be back...
Read moreAmazing place, they really know what they're doing. Had the California burrito (gigantic), gordita, tacos and our 4 year old had a chicken quesadilla. The food is great and customer service is excellent & friendly. Prices are very fair and they have a nice variety of everything. The meats are full of flavor, and our 4 year old who really doesn't eat a ton, absolutely crushed her quesadilla and said it was great. Would absolutely return in a hurry. The salsas are so good and they were nice enough to give us the birria flavoring (a watery soupy, au jus kind of thing) as a dip. Free refills on the agua...
